Great city with a community who joins together in times of need as well as for other times for fun and fellowship. A great example of small towns in the South.
Bought a home here 7 years ago. Nice and quiet. Friendly folks. Just came back from the 1st Veterans Day Walk. I’m a vet, but I can’t hike like that anymore! LOL!

Euharlee Creek Covered Bridge is a historic spot worth visiting, featuring a charming covered bridge surrounded by old buildings and plaques with historical information. It is only open for walking now, but the area remains easily accessible, with a new parking area adjacent to the bridge that has no parking fee. In the future, a brewery will be located next to the bridge, offering a chance to try local beers. The surrounding town is quaint and hosts annual events, including the Fall Festival, which features trick-or-treating, vendors, and activities for children. Visitors can walk across the bridge and explore the area. The nearby Nanny G's bakery offers delicious treats, including banana pudding cheesecake, peach hand pie, oatmeal cookie, and "the world's best" cookie. The local town has been improving its small park and has built a new large park close by.
