Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The Fairburn GA location I DO NOT recommend at all! We stopped there for breakfast after traveling all night from NY on Saturday 8/2 7am, which we usually stop at the Commerce GA location but we made really good time so we traveled to the other side of Atlanta before eating. We had our 4 grandchildren with us. First, while the waitress was taking our order, our granddaughter didn’t understand a side dishes that she said to her and so she repeated it. Granddaughter still didn’t know, which we are not from the south! So the waitress proceeded to spell out G-R-I-T-S. GRITS SHE SAID GRITS. I just bit my tongue and we finished ordering. When our food came my other granddaughter told the waitress that wasn’t what she ordered, she ordered the same as her sister. The waitress proceeded to order with my 9 year old granddaughter. She said no you ordered this that came with bacon, ham and sausage. My husband said no she ordered the steak one just like the other granddaughter. She said again arguing with my husband. Finally I told her to let’s just please get her what she wanted. We will pay for this meal but she wants the steak. After this whole thing, no one and I mean no one came to check on us. There is always a manager that comes around and he was walking around but I’m positive he was also ignoring us. So when we got up to leave I asked to speak to the manager. I had to wait a few minutes for him to even come out to talk to me. He didn’t introduce himself nothing. He was annoyed that he had to be there talking to me at all. So he was just listening. Never said ma’am I’m so sorry for the way you were treated. I will have a conversation with her. Nothing. I have never had a bad experience ever at one of your locations especially not in the South. They need to have training on excellent customer service and the manager definitely shouldn’t be in the position he is in. We will never visit this location again!

went on May 18th. took twenty minutes to be asked to order. the drinks came 20 minutes after that. the poor girl bringing the drinks(not our waiter) dropped them on my mom and I. she was the only one to say anything. no manager came or anything. food took an additional 25-30 minutes after that. the waiter (Tyler) barely came by our table . when the food came the chicken was overcooked and rubbery and my sister had hairs in her green beans. no one asked us if everything was good or if we needed anything. then when checking out no one was there for 5-7 minutes and then when the cashier did come he didn't listen to our complaint over the drink spill and had to be repeatedly reminded what change he needed to give back.

The service is HORRIBLE!! Employees are just standing around on their phones. I was not given a drink for 30 minutes. Food was not served for almost 25 minutes and it was cold!!

The lady with the red hair with the fake butt. Had the worst customer service ever. So rude and unprofessional. This my 3rd time experiencing this with her. They need to redo the whole staff

Was not crowded at all. Wait stay was standing around. Waited half an hour to get served. 15 minutes for drinks. Found out after 25 minutes they were out of one a tee we ordered. Terrible! Stay away!

I did not eat here so my one stars are due to service.
I was seated for lunch and no one came to take my order for 10 minutes so I left. It was not crowded and I needed to get back to work

Worst experience ever. It took over an hour for a service to take our drink order. It took 2 hours to get served breakfast. I spoke with the Manager, who was unconcerned. He said that he had just got there, but I watched him for over an hour. He conveniently disappeared after I complained about the service. Never again

Tried to call to place a to go order and I could barely hear her. I said “ Hi could I place a to go order please” and was laughed at and then disconnected and immediately transferred to an automated survey asking how my experience was. I then tried ordering online and it wouldn’t go through due to an “unknown error”. I won’t ever attempt to order from this location again. Your staff is incredibly rude.

Had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for the food both my tickets stated sweet tea half a gallon was given strawberry lemonade when I called to let them know I will be coming back to exchange it for the right one. I was told on the phone I’m looking at your ticket right now. It said strawberry lemonade, but both of my tickets that I have says sweet tea. I asked for no gravy they took my plate back brought it back with just more mashed potatoes on top of the gravy that I didn’t ask for it. My grandmother paid for two boiled eggs. They gave her one she was supposed to give meatloaf sauce on the side no sauce my babies chicken tenders extremely over fried. Order a pot pie cause it’s Sunday an hour and 52 minutes later they told me that there was no more chicken pot pies. But the waitress she was great. I just need the cook in the back to get it together. If you don’t feel good and your spirits aren’t high, you should not fry.

Kid-friendliness: Very careful friendly extremely too much kid my son didn’t know what he wanted. He wanted everything we played chess for an hour and 42 minutes.

It took me 1 hour from placing an order to getting my food on my table. However, the occupancy was less than 50% of the table.

Every time I order takeout, you always get the order wrong. And had to wait 35 extra minutes.

Walked out an hour after being seated and not being fed. The restaurant was maybe at 50% capacity it's still took 30 minutes to get to biscuits, an hour 30 minutes later there was still no food.
Server was great, manager had no idea what he was doing and the kitchen must be severely understaffed.

I don’t usually do this but I have to address it. To start our waitress was really nice. The food on the other hand was absolutely horrible!! Usually when we come to this location we leave pleased. My husband was givin bacon ghat was undercooked and had to be sent back. My food was cold and had to be sent back. When my food was returned it was still cold. The meat loaf was absolutely disgusting and mushy. My 8 year d sons plate was brought 15 min after everyone else’s. And there was a small piece of plastic in my daughter’s fried apples. Now 3 out of 6 of us have stomach aches which is never a good sign. Needless to say we won’t be returning.
