Lady Fannie Mae's Ultimate Fish Fry

Such lovely people. Extremely kind and hospitable. The food was a miss on the day of our visit. The mac n cheese was dry and without much cheese or flavor. The greens were okay. The lemon pepper wings were tiny and salty. The fries were also salty and grease soaked. The hushpuppies weren’t crispy enough, but had some flavor. The fish itself was flavorful and fried well. I was surprised by the food because the reviews are so great. I’ll chalk it up to a bad day (though, it was a Friday). I don’t come out this way much so I probably won’t be back.

I had shrimp and whiting dinner. Loved the shrimp. Slaw had too much vinegar in it for me. Fish was cooked in a different batter than shrimp and was not as tasty for the price. But I would return for the fried shrimp w different sides.

The service was definitely great. I was greeted upon entry and although I ordered my food to go the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered fish & shrimp and it was good but the price was a little expensive. I believe I paid $27 for the combo

The food was pretty good. I Ordered the whiting and shrimp dinner that comes with slaw, hushpuppies and fries.
The owner I believe was at the counter and very kind. I will definitely be back to try the red snapper plate.

My experience was great! I walked in was helped right away, my fish was hot and well seasoned. Will definitely be back!

Owner has a really really nasty attitude. She’s not the person she portrays she is. She also does NOT give the tips on the register to the employees.

I really wanted this place to be good but the complete disregard to clear instructions is unsettling. They left my wings off of my catfish and “wing” meal. My fries literally taste like they were boiled. The wings that I had to go back in the establishment and get that were left off were still not made incorrectly. The wings on the other meal were not made incorrectly and also tasted boiled. I give one star for the catfish. Never again.

Food was awesome! My wife loved it, spot was nice, good place to sit and eat especially with a friend or spouse

Found this place by accident yesterday on a small road trip, and it’s a little gem! My friend and I were not disappointed. He loved the shrimp, and my whole snapper fish was fried up just right. The service was warm and welcoming too. Will definitely go back if I’m ever in the area again :)

Amazing! I love seafood especially when it's done right. Everything was great Great customer service the food came out fast and it was season to perfection. Highly recommended

Only reason Not 5 stars, they were out of shrimp and grits, so had to get shrimp and Mac & cheese. Everything was great.
