The Dining Experience

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! The grits are perfect, the fried catfish were nice and crispy, and the coffee is strong. Traveling from Jersey, and glad we came across this location. The staff was friendly, making sure their customers were satisfied. Customer Service was on point. Thanks Morgan for a great experience!!

Cool place! The menu has probably had for almost something for anyone. The bar looked well stock, but I didn't partake because I went while at lunch from work. I plan on returning!

Finally got a chance to visit! Very minimalist vibe when you walk in but nothing minimalist about the food here!! I'm gonna skip all the extras and get straight to the food. OMG!! Y'all!! The food!!!
EVERYTHING was DELISH!! Get the salmon eggrolls, fried catfish, waffles, FRIED GREEN TOMATOES, fried wings. Not sure what that batter is on the fried chicken and fried green tomates but it's perfect! The only thing I would change slightly are the grits. I can tell they are made with chicken broth which is good but they were missing something. I think maybe some cream and maybe Smoked Gouda instead of cheddar would take them over the top.
They serve alcohol. Nice space, not a bunch of hookah and dancing around, music wasn't loud (thank you)!

Ok, went on Saturday, party of 5. Seated as soon as we walked in. I believe they may also have a party space. I would absolutely hire them for catering if needed! Waitress was friendly and helpful. I have absolutely ZERO COMPLAINTS!! Go here, you will NOT be disappointed! I hope they grow and have more locations!

My experience at The Dining Experience wasn’t what it was hyped up to be by Keith Lee. I ordered the Dining French Toast platter while my wife had the Catfish platter. The French toast was very basic, maybe a 5 out of 10, and the grits were honestly disappointing—over-seasoned when all they really needed was just a little salt and pepper. The catfish itself was good, but the sides didn’t live up to the hype. On top of that, they ran out of shell eggs, and the biscuit was so hard it was almost inedible.

I did like the medieval theme—it gives the restaurant a unique atmosphere—but the bar doesn’t match the concept at all, which makes it feel incomplete. Our server was polite but lacked knowledge about the menu, which made it frustrating when we had questions about the food. Sean, the manager, was very kind and did her best to address the issues we had, but unfortunately the overall experience still left us not wanting to return.

Overall, the experience fell short of expectations. The idea is creative and has potential, but the execution needs serious improvement when it comes to food quality, consistency, and staff training. For now, I’d rate The Dining Experience a 4 out of 10.

Typical grass on the wall Atlanta restaurant. The food is okay, but the food is ultra processed. I paid a dollar for shell eggs... the toilet was not functioning properly.

I recently hosted a bridal shower here, and everything was absolutely perfect! The décor was stunning and made the event feel so special. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our guests. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and truly enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a memorable event—10/10!

I celebrated my 40th birthday at The Dining Experience and it was AMAZING!! Kyesha and her team did a GREAT job!! Myself, along with my family and friends enjoyed the beautiful decorations and the delicious brunch foods. I contacted The Dining Experience because the party packages offered were exactly what I was looking for. From the first time I contacted Kyesha she was in constant communication ensuring that my brunch party would be everything I wanted. I tell you it was more than I could have ever imagined 💜!! Also I had the option of playing music through Bluetooth or have an actual DJ. I choose to have live music and DJ Tyrite set it off 🔥!! Torry was my waitress today. Very attentive to my needs. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures but I had their shrimp and grits for brunch and it was phenomenal. The food is great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. If you're ever in or around the Fairburn area, you must try THE DINING EXPERIENCE!!

Visiting ATL from Dallas, omggg, I tried the omelet/added Salmon, cheese grits, and wheat toast, y’all it was so delicious, cooked perfectly like the chef knew me lol, I cleaned the plate.Kudos to the chef on 8/15 around 11am.-dined in

So boom! I ordered again the next day because it was so delicious lol but I did a door dash and it definitely wasn’t the same experience y’all, so not sure if it was a different chef or if they were busy and rushing.

Highly recommend a dine in experience
