Place is closed down/abandoned and for sale. Don’t think your gonna get some breakfast before going to Stephen Foster Park like we did.
Nice ?
Friendly folks who make great hamburgers.
I was staying at Stephen Foster State Park and wanted a late afternoon lunch. The buffet wasn't available (good luck for me) so I asked the waitress what she liked best on the menu & it was the hamburger. It was the same recipe that original owner/chef "Jill" used (when prior name at this location was "Swannee River Cafe"). This was the BEST hamburger I've had in 20 years ! It reminded me of the hamburgers I had in my childhood before the "fast food" brands existed. When I told the waitress my reaction, she passed it along & the current chef/owner came out of the kitchen & thanked me for that compliment & thanked me for "stopping in". He also suggested that I someday try his fried chicken, which he thought was "on par" with the hamburger...and I certainly will, whenever I get back to Fargo. The cafe's new name, I think, is "Jack & Jill's" but same location as the former "Swannee River Cafe"
Only restaurant in town - now known as JillBilly's. Very friendly proprietors / staff. Closed on Mondays. Good food, but limited menu. GREAT hot fresh fried okra.
Had a great double cheeseburger. My wife had the grilled cheese. We have french fries and corn fritters side. All very good. The waitress / owner was super friendly and very informative about the area. I would recommend this to anyone. Plan on going back tomorrow for their lunch buffet from 11 to 1. They also display folk art from a local artist. And it's all for sale at very reasonable prices. How's the traffic
Great down home country cooking for a great price!!!!
Good food, reasonably priced with friendly staff all with a great view of the beautiful Suwannee River !!
One of the best little home town cafes I have ever been to. Very friendly staff! Patrons are also very friendly, be ready for great conversation when you get there.**Update**New owners! Still friendly however they don't have a breakfast buffet anymore and sometimes open later in the morning. Still good food and atmosphere!
OMG, this place is a hidden gem. This is actually a house. Knock loudly on the screen door before entering to wake up the waitress..

Under new ownership..nice home style meal?
Don't waste your time or money! Go next door and get a can of Vienna sausage you will be happy you did.
Very slow and not enough of food was having to turn people away. Limited menu because of out of food
Food is delicious...You will not be disappointed. Have fun and enjoy
Every time we come to the state park, we come here morning and evening for food. I liked everything they had to offer so far and have no complaints. It's the only restaurant in town I believe, besides, what camping now and don't expect this place to be an upscale restaurant. It's good food and good people. My family and I will come eat here every time we come to the swamp.
