Food was very good, highly recommend giving the wings and drumsticks and the japchae. Looking forward to trying the bibimbap next visit.

1 Star – Disappointing Experience at Bonchon Fayetteville

I had high hopes for Bonchon in Fayetteville, but unfortunately, this visit was a letdown from start to finish.

Cleanliness: The bathroom had a strong, overwhelming smell of urine that made it hard to overlook hygiene concerns.

Service: The robot server lost control and bumped into our table, which was more awkward than impressive.

Wait Time: The food took an incredibly long time to arrive, with no updates or apologies.

Food Quality: When it finally did arrive, the kimchi was bland and lacked the bold, fermented flavor you’d expect from a Korean restaurant.

Sadly, this experience didn’t live up to the Bonchon name. I won’t be returning unless there are serious improvements in cleanliness, service, and food quality.

Food was very good (although the Tteokbokki was way too spicy, couldn't finish the dish).
The hostess was very nice, very helpful.
But, for $20+ per person, being served in take-out packages, with Styrofoam plates and plasticware feels very unsatisfying. If you offered actual reusable ware (instead of single-use), you'd score higher.

Noodles were delicious, but sticky ribs weren't sticky.

My first time coming here and everything was amazing the workers are very nice and the food came really fast

The fried chicken was the only good thing we ordered, very crispy, but unfortunately not very temperature hot which made it feel like all the food was pre-cooked and sitting around. They said only two specific flavors of sauces were available on the side, which again leads me to believe some are pre-sauced and not fresh.

The potstickers with soy garlic were stale and not hot.

I ordered the bibimbap, and it was barely warm. I asked a worker about it and he said that it's supposed to be cold and only the bulgogi is warm. But even traditional bibimbap is reheated to be served warm/hot.

Lukewarm restaurant food makes me nervous when it comes to food poisoning, so I did not finish it.

Most of the food came in plastic takeaway containers and we were given Styrofoam plates and disposable forks, (with the additional plate we needed for our table finally being delivered to us once we were done eating) which was quite a lot of trash. Ordering is done at the counter where it prompts for a tip, which is fine, but we were barely attended to and the amount we tipped was not warranted at all.

The food is good. The prices are high! Or else I would have given 5 stars. Food is good. Never got sick after 10 visits. The people are very nice. I don't really like the asking for tips on the debit machine when I pay but I guess get them if you can.

I got the Tteobokki and it was a little spicier than I expected but it was good. I also got the korean fried chicken and chicken fried rice, the fried chicken was very crispy and the soy garlic flavor was so good the rice was also good. Overall the food was great and the lady who served us was very nice.

The best chicken I have had so far and the seasoned fries are good and we had the Korean donuts .

I absolutely love their fried chicken. It's so light and crispy. You gotta try it!

Everything was fine until we got our food. I noticed the server brought our 2 orders of fries when I only ordered 1. I brought this up to the server and he made it seem like I ordered 2 so he left the fires at the table. A few minutes later as we're eating the manager walks by and stares at our food then comes back to tell me I only PAID 1 order of fries which I already knew since I expressed it to the server from the start. She then asks to take 1 of the fries back after my family and I have been eating from both orders. I've been going to this place for years and not once has someone been so unprofessional over an order of FRIES!!!

Love love Bon Chon. I live up in the city but whenever I come down Fayetteville I try to stop by here for delicious Korean fried chicken. I rarely eat meat but this is one of my guilty treats. The chicken is always juicy, the skin has that perfect crisp to it without tasting overly breaded and I usually split between the soy garlic and Korean bbq. Service here is always friendly and excellent. And my dine in meal was delivered by a robot to the table! I wish we had a Bon Chon in the city by me.
