Im not one to leave reviews but the food here was not very good at all. Especially for the price. I got ribs and pulled pork with cole slaw and Mac and cheese. The only good item was the pulled pork. The ribs were burnt and didnt taste good. The Mac and cheese had 0 flavor with just some melted cheese on top. The coleslaw also had no flavor and was dry. For 27 dollars for just 1 plate it was no where near worth the price.

Ordered pulled pork, smoked sausage, baked beans, Brunswick stew, and coleslaw. Didn’t care for the baked beans at all, and wasn’t thrilled with the Brunswick stew, which had Lima beans in it? The pulled pork, smoked sausage, and coleslaw were good enough though.

The food is a step above what you would expect! Chef and owner Erik is incredible, and we have even had him catered several events from funerals and family gatherings to trainings for work and even a football banquet. And every single time everyone raves about his food!!!!

I really hate to write this review as this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. It seems like they took a turn for the worse at the beginning of summer. My food is either burnt or in smaller quantities than expected. I hate that they changed their to go boxes as well. I really liked coming here to eat because I would usually snack as my kids played at the park. But this burnt piece of chicken was the last straw that broke the camels back. Why would you hand this disgusting piece of chicken breast over and over again to your customers? I see someone else experienced the same burnt issue with their chicken. What is going on at this establishment? On a semi positive note the staff member did offer to make me some more chicken, but why should I have to complain?

This is not a BBQ Pit restaurant,,,, food is not hot no flavor,,there are not any grilling done at this location 😅 they don’t have or know anything about BBQ Pit Grilling,,,😂

They don't have anything on the menu. Out of everything.

Prices are up, quality is down. The menu has changed as well. Meals used to come with two sides; now they charge you extra. What used to cost $14 for a plate is now over $21. Save yourself from getting taken advantage of and eat somewhere else.

I stopped by Hog Pit BBQ last week and meant to leave a review sooner, but time got away from me. The food was absolutely amazing full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and super satisfying. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The two boys with the colored hair were incredible super friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. They really went above and beyond. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!

Not sure why this place isn’t 5 stars across the board. The brisket is great - spendy, but for what you get, it’s very well priced. Live music a lot of the time & you can have a beer while you wait. This will be my dinner, lunch tomorrow, and maybe dinner the following night while I stay locally for work.

I came here like last week I think and there food is the best there pull pork is juicy and very good I got there collard greens and it was very good then the employee were nice this one boy he has blonde hair he was kind and very helpful

Everything I have ever eaten here is spot on! I consider myself a bit of a BBQ Connoisseur, as I have tried restaurants from all over the south...GA, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Memphis, Texas.... and this BBQ is some of the best. I have never had poor service, although I understand anyone can have an off day. What has ALWAYS been consistent is taste! Anyone wanting to hear a honest review, not petty, this is a great place to try. I cannot guarantee the person taking your order will be perfect, but your food will be!

My chicken nachos were cold! Who serves cold nachos! Yuck!
