Great customer service greeted me with a all smiles helloxan I help you, courteous and quick service. Took my order, explained that she will be texting me when my order is ready. Soon as I reached my car the text was in saying my food was ready ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I had Ribs, baked beans and potato salad not only was it good but I have left overs ?. I will be returning.

I stood here and watched the employee stir a pot, reach in with her bare hand (no gloves), and then lick her fingers to taste it. I should have said something.

My $12+ salad didn’t even have the bacon on it that they advertised. The ranch wasn’t even half full. Employees complained to coworker when I asked for more.

The brisket was mainly fat, the food portions and delivery were poor, and the cleanliness was very questionable. I was hopeful, but very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend.

Quality has just declined. So sad. Half the time they are out of stuff. The pigs in a blanket tonight were hard and dried out and barely covered with dough. Like they had made them earlier and put them under a warmer for 2 hours. The nachos were ok but just thrown together haphazard with all the filling shoved on one side. This stuff is not cheap. They used to have awesome quality but it’s just gone down hill. Then we ordered a pizza (same owner, same workers, same building, but a different store, Ms Pizza). The large pizza was soggy and was not good. All the toppings were thrown in one side. It just sucked. So disappointed. There was a family that left bc no one was answering the window and I had to knock to get anyone to come up.

Service was pretty good and the atmosphere is really nice. There are multiple restaurants on location, an ice cream/candy shop and a splash pad outdoors. The food was ok. BBQ beans were more like canned pork and beans and the brisket on the grilled cheese was a little salty. The eggroll was ok. The coleslaw was similar to the slaw you'd get from zaxbys only dry. The ribs were tender and good. We came home warmed them up and put some sweet baby rays BBQ sauce on them and they were pretty good

I had the two meat combo, Brisket and Sausage with a side of mac and cheese and potatoe salad. The brisket was a bit tough but had great bark and great smoke flavor it was tasty enough that you don't need BBQ sauce. The Sauasge was incredible. The Mac and Cheese had potential but mine was cold. The potatoe salad while made in house reminded me of the plastic container stuff you buy at the store in a pinch. All in all I gave this 4 stars as opposed to 5, part in because the service was impersonal you order from a tablet and get a text message when food is done. The doorbell didn't work so I stood there watching my food get cold and watching the people work. This could have been an off day and I will say the meat was worth coming back.

I've supported 4 times to try the entire menu. Catfish bites were ONLY 3 small ones for the price, that's crazy! Rib tips are not tender & juicy, very dry & hard. The Brisket and ribs are great. I'd love to enjoy the ENTIRE menu but stick to what's good for my money.

This is our place to go for consistently great bbq, appetizers and some of the best brunswick stew! I don't like mush, so this stew is fresh and chunky. Sauces are just right, all I need to do is ask for extra and they give me the right amount for my liking.They do a great job of catering to the customer. I like their kiosk because I don't feel overwhelmed deciding and holding up the line. The wait for the food is very reasonable because I know they are doing everything prepared by hand and its fresh.Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Weekends hanging out in the beautiful outdoors with the best bbq around!!

The food was not what I hoped it to be. I wanted to introduce my father to a place that served BBQ. He was not satisfied. He said the food didn't taste fresh. I myself noticed the lack of smoky flavor. The sides didn't excite me either. The food wasn't horrible, it just didn't give me the smoke and flavor I was hoping for.

Finding it is very difficult if you don’t know where it is. Obviously where the Fayette County Bus Barn (school transportation basically) was they have built this whole “gathering” area. A park and a dog park and Line Creek Brewing, a pizza place an ice cream/candy store is all inside this building. Its backs up to an apartment complex (?) and it’s behind the county administrative office buildings.Once you find it, you have to order from one or two windows via a iPad kiosk (unless you want to purchase wine then you get someone’s attention to show your id to purchase just that.) They send you a text (you have to put in your cell number when checking out) when your order is ready. Everything comes in a what I’m guessing is an eco-friendly cardboard like to go container. No markings on the containers as to what each one contains, so remember what you ordered.Now food, we got three bbq pulled pork plates, all three with Brunswick stew, then Mac and cheese, baked beans and ‘home cut fried” and we got the catfish sandwich with Mac and cheese.Pork was ok, it was dry. They give you this tiny (mad I mean tiny little container, think of a ketchup container) container of the sauce you picked. Definitely need to give more or advice you need to get more. The stew had potatoes in it. Uhm no! And it was bland. Baked beans were like bean mush and bland. Mac and cheese was greasy and literally some noodles (not even elbow noodles) and some melted cheese, that’s it! The only flavor it had was in the cheese. The “hand cut fries” were frozen shoe string fries. The catfish sandwich is basically frozen catfish nuggets on a bun with some mixed kale and lettuce leaves. Sodas are canned.The young lady working there who seemed to be doing it alone was super sweet though.Definitely not worth the money that we spent. Not somewhere I recommended eating.

The location is great, but the food for the Hog Pit not good. Fries are a disaster. For the second time wings are cold. The kids tenders are 50% meat and rest breaded. Guess until improvements or new administration I will stick to beer.

Very bad communication. Took my order and waited 30 minutes and then inquired about the food and they said they were actually closed. But someone took my order? The said she left….very weird

Hog Pit doesn't have anywhere on their website for feedback, thus this is the only option. Since you HAVE to order your food online, it falls on the business to make sure that menu is accurate. And the photo of nachos has meat included on the plate. So, it only makes sense to someone ordering the nachos that they will get what is pictured. If you want your customers to know that your "nachos" do NOT include meat, you need to write that under the photo. OTHERWISE, people will ASSSUME it comes with meat just like all the other restaurants who serve nachos. It only makes sense.

I am going to start off with the good…The prices are good especially for the location… the area is super nice… great for a nice dayI grew up in Fayetteville so it was nice they added this food hall to the area.My collard greens were extremely salty I took two bites and couldn’t eat any more due to the tasteThe ribs were good and tender… I ordered the sweet bbq sauce and felt it really wasn’t sweetCold slaw was wasn’t bad though

… ordered ribs with Mac and Cheese and Collard Greens and Fried Catfish with baked beans and the Stew..… Ribs overcooked and the baked beans and stew aren’t good at all however the Mac and Cheese was good… I only came to the place after leaving Speedi Pig because they only accepted cash and the ATM inside was out of money.. I regret not going to another ATM getting money and going back to the Speedi Pig because Hog Pit ain’t it..
