Mama Put Restaurant

They charged me and wife to sit in there restaurant to eat, and the food was not all that good, the restaurant is not worth charging people to sit and eat, we want be back,we I had better African food..

Food was terrible. Plain rice a tiny quarter piece. No vegetables or plantains. Service was also terrible. The host or server had a horrible attitude. Rude !!!Then when we asked for a takeout container for the remainder of the food, she stated that it cost to take away your food because you dine in. We spent over $100, will NEVER come back. You should not patronize this establishment.

The food was horrible. The rice tasted like it just had tomato paste poured on top of it and we were given 2 tiny pieces of fish that didn’t equal to one small actual fish. After a disappointing meal we asked for 3 take out trays. The server refused and stated she could only give us one takeout tray for our food. I explained to her that we had spent $105.00 in her establishment and this was not good service. She then said, “Ok I will give you 2 this time only”, as if she had did us a favor(2 trays for 4 adults and a child). We will not be going to this restaurant again. The food was distasteful and the service was very disappointing!

I’ve been coming to this place a couple of months now. But today when I went back the food was disgusting, the egushi soup doesn’t taste the same and they are giving less portions than they normally give. After I spent $50 today I will not be RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING PEOPLE TO COME HERE.

No matter if I asked for an extra scoop or not I shouldn’t have to because normally when I come I don’t have to ask.. I don’t care about paying extra but yall trying to get over for a small scoop which was damn near $6.99 almost $7.00? Either way it don’t matter it was nasty as hell this time and I won’t be back!!!! Through the whole plate away!

The food here is delicious. This is the only place I feel comfortable getting African food from.

🥵 Because of this place, i now know I can't handle that type of heat! The flavor is great, but my tast buds are pansies, lol. My wife, on the other hand, loves this place. If you like good traditional food, we both recommend the 3 ladies, and the 2 men that I have been served by have always been very polite and thankful! Give them a try!

This place is a joke. I went in to get food. It was nothing but maybe 3 scoops of egusi, she literally but 2 scoops. Egusi by it self is $7.99 and meat is $4.99. My total at 17.51 and they did t have change to give back. I asked for my money back and went else where. I will not eat here at all. Don’t go here you will be very disappointed

This was my first time I bought three orders and left a tip the were stingy on spicy sauce that’s crazy to me being I shouldn’t even left a TIP!!!!!!!
