ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED!! ROACH CENTRAL… I went with my coworker and we were vibing out to the live music and then I see a little roach I’m like ew and a server kills it. Then I see multiple I will never go again in my life I was scared a hug would’ve been in my food! Not to mention it took a little over 20 mins for a server to come see us.

Could not be more happy with the service or the food.
I wish they had about two or three times the amount of beers on draft that is the one drawback however, the mixed drinks were excellent, and the Guinness was poured correctly.
We were just there for a quick drinks and an appetizer. We got the blue cheese, potato chips and they were absolutely fantastic. Top shelf all around and we will go back just to get them again.
The bartender was absolutely fantastic and she talked to us and even encouraged us to come back for the live music.
Highly recommended great place to sit and have a few drinks. We parked in the city complex about 100 feet from the bar. Made it easy to get in and out.

Food: OK. Ordered salad. Greens not too fresh. Service: great. Atmosphere: rock bottom. The cockroach scampering across the bar kinda killed the vib.
People come here for the burgers, but do not sleep on the newly added Cajun food. The red beans and rice, gumbo, and limas with sausage are incredible. I call them once a week to make sure they have the red beans and rice. Great food that's hard to find other places. The fried shrimp is really really good also.

Meet friends there on a Friday night. They had live music and was seated right away. We ordered some cocktails and pimento cheese dip. I got the chopped steak meal and my gf got the black and blue burger. Both were fantastic. I’ll definitely be back!!!

The food here is a muddle of attempted innovation and failure to meet customer expectations. This is my second trip here. Let me explain from worst to best.
Mac and Cheese Overcooked to mush and zero seasoning in either pasta or cheese. No textual difference. Pepper did not help. Heinz 57 was a miss. Only the hot sauce gave it enough to swallow.
Death by Chocolate Not very rich. Bland cake base. Over salted not chocolate frosting. Oddly enough, if I associate it with salted caramel cake, my brain allows it a pass and it was sort of okay after.
Potato Salad Now, I don’t honestly know what New Orleans style is. But, the taste was great. The texture was just off. It was so mushed you could have put it in a piping bag and done swirls to which I may have accepted it better. But, instead, thought I was getting a bite of potato only to have zero texture. Again, flavor was great.
Southern Burger Meat quality is questionable. Taste is fine. Bacon was good quality and made up for it. Also the peach bbq sauce was great! I’d ask for it on the side for more even flavor.
Pimento Cheese Best thing here. I came here a second time JUST for this. Only thing I would change is the name. Thoughts of pimento cheese is as a cold spread or ball. If you called it Pimento Queso it would better meet expectations as the warm dip it is. I’d honestly advertise it at your tables as a little sign in the holder.
Chicken from last trip was good as well. I’d say stick to the chicken and cheese dip.

Y'all. . . I went here for a second time against my better judgment. The first time I sat in a seat that was a booth that shared chairs with a table.. It was close towards the front of the store. This is the second time in 3 months that I had a flying roach land beside me out of nowhere and start crawling towards me. I am actually shocked it has happened two times in a row. I canceled my order just now and left. I highly recommend this place be inspected and sprayed... This thing flew down from literally a rafter in the ceiling and started crawling towards me on the booth. This place is not ready for primetime! It is so upsetting because I really wish this town could thrive as I have lived here majority of my life, But things like this are definitely not going to increase patronage. Please see about your flying roach problem! Multiple patrons said oh hey that happens all the time or that is just a water bug! I don't care what it is - that is the most disgusting thing to see or have happen to you if you are trying to eat! Plus it's not like these are some sort of cheap burgers! All I have to say is never again will I dine here. Enter and consume at your own risk!!!!
