Holts used to be the best bakery around but in the past 5 years or so, new management has cut most all the corners possible. The cakes are basically lower quality than Walmart, where you used to have thick icing layers, you now have a thin smear on a dry bready cake layer
I got some cupcakes that was old and tasted bad one time so I called and complained to someone in charge about the cupcakes instead of them telling me they would give me my money back or more cupcakes they said it was nothing they could do about it......that is bad for business but other then that they would have gotten a 5 star ?
I love Holt's Bakery in Beautiful downtown Fitzgerald Georgia, and I always visit at least twice a year to get some lemon sticks Did I mention I am from Fitzgerald and the hour and a half drive home is always worth it.
