We were on a honor guard Mission for a Veteran at a church down the road when my friend and I discovered this restaurant a few years ago. Ever since then we tried to go on Sundays with our motorcycle group, sometimes up to 30 people. They were hit hard with the covid closure, but opened with safety procedures, gloves and sanitizer. We usually get there at 11 when they open and the food is fresh. Ms. Nabila marinades her chicken a day before it is fried and it's some of the best. The only thing I miss since covid-19 is the extensive dessert bar with the whole cakes pies and all kinds of assorted dessert which has now been packaged in Saran Wrap as well as the salad. Homemade southern vegetables and practically anything you can think of to eat. like whoever thought of mixing carrots with pineapples? Ms. Nabila will meet you with her warm personality and her friendly husband usually works the cash register. It is well worth the hour and 15-minute trip. I took off work last Sunday just to go on our trip to eat lunch.
