Today I got my usual Sausage Sandwich with cheese and sweet sauce. It was excellent! I try to get there about once a week for lunch and I always get the sausage sandwich. It is the BEST!The staff is always very friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend Dickey's Pit Barbecue in Flowery Branch on Winder Highway.

Came in for the first time today ordered the 3 plate meal and chicken wings. Told only a few wings left and out of some meat however niyah and Jai waited on me offering alternatives and were extremely nice and helpful. For my birthday they offered me a dessert which was delicious also a discount for my inconvenience. Will be back again. Service was excellent.

10/10 the guys who work it are awesome and good is awesome
I've been for lunch and dinner 5 or 6 times past 6 months. Every time I go meat is dry over cooked, taste like maybe reheated. Nothing ever tastes fresh out of the oven. Sides are a joke, microwave sides taste better. They literally give you one cup of bbq sauce, every bbq joint I've ever been too they have bottles or somewhere you can help yourself to as much as you want. Oh!!! Half the time I go they have no sweet tea!! That's automatically an F in my opinion. Shane's rib shack is way better for fast food bbq.

My husband and I decided to stop at Dickey's today for some lunch, and we both ordered the special. Excellent choice! The barbecue in the sandwich was delicious as well as the sides. The staff was friendly and courteous and created a very pleasant dining atmosphere. We will go back soon.

I pre-ordered a 3-meat plate online, including turkey, but upon arrival, I was informed they didn't have turkey available. I didn't mind and simply asked for more brisket with the chicken. I noticed the online price for fountain drinks was high, so I planned to ask for a cup for ice, but upon arrival, I noticed they only had plastic cups, which made me assume they wouldn't provide an ice cup, and indeed they didn't. The portions exceeded my expectations, which was a pleasant surprise, but unfortunately, the chicken was served cold. I typically don't use BBQ sauce, so perhaps that's why I found it okay. The fries were too soggy for my taste, but the Mac and cheese was enjoyable, albeit in a smaller container than I'm accustomed to. Next time, I might skip the fries and order two portions of Mac and cheese instead.
