When my wife and I walked in,we were not greeted by professional staff,rather people who couldn't be bothered with us. First and last time we will ever darken the doorstep of this establishment!

Always great food and great, friendly service! The only place I know of that serves a delicious buffalo pork chop sandwich, with a beef and cheddar that's just as good!

We have been coming to this restaurant for almost 5 years ( it’s in our neighborhood). At first, we LOVED the place… I looked forward to always having a sandwich called “ The Rachel”… slowly, service and food have gone way downhill. Last night my husband and I thought we’d give it one last try.
Our waitress, Sophia, was excellent, however the food served was ridiculous. Chic / Cobb salad had maybe the equivalent of one small strip cut up on the salad, and my sandwich ( which used to be stacked high with pastrami and a nice Russian dressing as its sauce) came out dry / no sauce and the meat was minuscule… like maybe a few leftover pastrami shavings at the bottom of the barrel!
Service has also been slow last few times, although Sophia did her best to get items out to us in a 15 min timely manner ( there was 1 other table vacated there).
We’ve said goodbye to Maynard’s .. too bad, used to be a great place! Save your time and money, go elsewhere.

Update: my husband brought me home a “wedge salad” (see pic). Literally 2 cherry tomatoes and maybe 1/2 piece of bacon and 1/4 of a wedge of iceberg lettuce. Horribly sad attempt at a wedge salad. Don’t know how much he paid for it, but I guarantee he overpaid!
Our waitress Lizzy was amazing. The food was very good. The atmosphere not so great. The music was so loud that I could barely focus on the conversation with my friend. I asked a couple of times to have the music turn down and it will get turned down and then back up, and then back down and then back up. I really needed a night out last night and didn’t appreciate not being able to enjoy it. Oh! The bathroom was disgusting. My shoes audibly stuck to the floor and there’s a good 2 to 6 inch perimeter of dirt and dust around the bathroom clearly showing that it doesn’t get cleaned. Makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is!

Maynards is a great local restaurant for lunch or dinner. Their food is delicious! Their hamburgers are especially yummy, accompanied by house made fries or chips. We especially like all of their soups, as well as their pork chop and fish and chips. Large, comfortable booths, high top seating, as well as regular tables and chairs, give you many options for seating and can accommodate a large group as well as two diners. The staff are very friendly and always bring you service with a smile!

I ordered the fried cod and my side dish was Cole slaw. The fish was saturated in oil. So much oil from not being drained before bringing it to my table. The oil left a puddle on my plate. I had to remove the breaded part and just ate the fish. The Cole slaw is probably the worst I’ve ever had. It was tasteless. The meal cost $15.99 at lunch time. I was so disappointed with my plate choice. Your cooks need to do a better job at draining the oil before plating it. What a waste of my money. I’ve eaten there a few times and had no issues. Take the cod dish off the menu.
First time here. Great seating options. Michelle took excellent care of us. The House Chips & Fries are crispy. Looking forward to out next visit.
