Decided to come here on a day date after going to the range next door and it was wonderful! Our server, Jalia, was very kind, quick and answered our questions about the menu with lots of knowledge. We took her recommendations and were very pleased. Fish and chips were great, I opted out of the fries because I can’t handle a lot of fried foods. Potato salad was great and the cod was so lovely. Very moist and the batter was crispy but thin. Absolutely perfect. My boyfriend got the Rachel and that sauce was spot on! Glad we listened to Jalia and had extra sauce on the side! That spicy thousand island is legendary! We will be back. Prices are very reasonable, especially in this economy. We also try to support local businesses. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Drank a draft beer then realized the glass had a horrific Crack and chip at the rim. Server apologized but really didn't give a fat crap, owners response was nothing less than stupendous. Deplorable despicable unsafe. If they can't handle safety in a beer glass, frightful of their capacity to handle safe food storage. I recommend you go elsewhere. Ain't worth the risk of a ripped scarred lip. I'd give " em a zero if it were an option cause the food is sub par as well.

Food and service is always good. Atmosphere is drab and dark. TV’s must be 15-20 years old so not a place to watch sports.

Anybody know why Maynard's is closed before posted closing time? I have been twice to find out they are closed and it's been an hour prior to closing time.

The a/c was on the fritz, and the service was pleasant. This was the third time I had eaten there. The food was best this time, so I was happy. Grilled Salmon was really good.

Ordered 1/2 turkey sandwich and Caesar's Salad lunch special. Got the tortilla chips with warm salsa.
It was good, fast, and cheaper than the average corporate food chain. Support local businesses!

Fresh salads with house made dressings. (Try the russian). Delicious bar food, best burgers around. Great service. You can't go wrong here.

Had dinner there with our friends last night. Have been there a few times. Was very upset because there were bugs flying around us while we were eating. Started with one bug then increased to four. While eating we had to swat the bugs. A couple of them fell in our drinks. Not very hygienic. The staff just I let it slide as if expected. Will definitely reconsider going back there.

A larger group came after us and was placed up against my son who had to move.

The pulled pork was very dry.

The prime rib was overcooked.

We had to ask for refills since we were rarely checked on.

We have eaten here a lot in five years, but the last two visits have been mediocre at best.

I’ve been writing a lot of negative reviews lately. I came here 1 year ago, so I thought I should share my experience. 1, I don’t know how this place has 4 stars. It certainly doesn’t deserve it. Period. I came here about 6 months before my family came. I had gotten the burger the first time. Me and my sister were whispering how bad it was. Especially for be price. My grandmother had told my father how good this place was, so he took me here with my mom. Worst decision. I got the steak. I know you shouldn’t order steak from places like this but there wasn’t anything else I liked. First off. This place smells like smoke. And I can explain why. Somebody had told me after we went, that in was an indoor shooting place and smoking was allowed. Some people may think this place is good. Two words, it’s not. Very disappointed

This is your local go to place. This is a great place with good beer, great food, and good service. I have had the fish and chips, tacos, Reuben, and probably my favorite is the buffalo pork chop sandwich. Everything I have had here has been really good, but I don't believe I have ever had an entree, mostly just sandwiches.

Jeremy is the best! He has been our server every visit since we moved to Hoschton in the summer of 2021. Everything we have eaten here has been good. Most recently I had the dry rub low country wings at our ladies dinner.They were fantastic! Crispy skin, plenty of meat, and great flavor. Jeremy is so friendly ands attentive, we swear he should be running the place. Such a joy!
