it’s not the worst but it’s not the best. i will say, the brisket sandwich was good after i loaded it was sauce. it was really dry. the sides were the part i didn’t find the best. the baked beans were good, the cream corn was not cream corn. i’ll add a photo. and then my husband got a brisket sandwich , brunswick stew and the macaroni. he said all of his food was great except for the dry sandwich. it’s too pricey for the quality.

This place was fantastic! Between the 6 of us, we had just about everything. I always judge a BBQ place by the brisket, and Moonies has great brisket. The brunswick was a little different. It was very meaty and not much liquid. I liked it but my wife thought it was just ok. Service was a little slow to place our order, but it was well worth the wait!
Kid-friendliness: They only had a kids pork sandwich, but they were more then willing to swap out the meat and the sides.

Ordered food to go, no BBQ sauce was served when I opened the bag…for a BBQ restaurant the sauce should already be in the bag without having to beg for it. Portions are very small, the meat was dry and without much flavor. Never again, I feel robbed of the BBQ experience.

Best brisket in town! It's small, quaint and very clean. Favorites are brisket, Brunswick stew, fried okra, potato salad.
Moonies is amazing obviously but I had miss Susie cater our wedding and she was outstanding. everything was so good she’s very easy to contact and work with it was a hit and the deserve 10 stars for how amazing everything was!!!

Yall don't sleep on moonies ,when ever I come back hm ..this is were i go for the BEST. I don't even eat red meat ...eat the corn, ..please they need to hv an sampler plate... I just want a lil of everything... that would be an good name for it too. A lil bit of everything!
I had the brisket and chicken combo plate. Brisket was juicy and flavorful as was the dark meat chicken. Potato salad was very good. The coleslaw was too finely chopped for my taste as I prefer more of a "slaw". Walk up service friendly and helpful.

Pork and brisket were very good, had a nice smokey flavor, the BBQ sauce was good as well, nice that they had a mustard based sauce most places only have red sauce. The Brunswick Stew was very different, distinct taste of chili powder which I'm not used to and sausage as well. It was pretty good but not what I was expecting.
