Food was ok. Service was ok. Sushi chef seemed nicer than my waitress. Next time I will sit at sushi ? bar!! Fried rice with only 5 shrimp. It's not the greatest...sashimi was ok.
Shogun is a typical hibachi restaurant. The chefs put on the normal show with fire on the cooktop. Food is consistent - we don't come often but it seems pretty much the same from visit to visit. The filet and chicken is my favorite with excellent fried rice and vegetables. Lunch on weekdays is a good deal and the best time to come. If you enjoy hibachi then give Shogun a try.
This place could do with some work. The waitress was rude and barely ever smiled. She seemed like she hated her job. There was disgusting grease around the edge of the cook top that looked like it had been there way too long. The food was good but the overall atmosphere looks tired and needs a face lift. The chef was nice but barely did any of the usual funny things the chef does. He was very quiet compared to other chefs we've had. In my opinion, there are much better hibachi...
