This was our second time visiting the restaurant. I came here 8 years ago and they had a large selection of protein/meats to select from during the buffet. Today we were told that they will be serving more stuff in a few minutes. We waited a little while and just ended up eating what they had. Don't get me wrong it was pretty good stuff but all they had was fried white fish and some BBQ meat for protein. It was nice to know that you can ask them for what you want and they will make it fresh for you, that's amazing but the point is we were waiting for more food to come out for the buffet portion and nothing new came out. I hope this bussines stays successful.

So glad we found this reasturant...The staff was very friendly.The food was amazing especially the fried chicken & fish..Our next trip to Amelia Island we will definitely have lunch there again.

Living in northeast GA I had on numerous times stopped to eat at this restaurant in previous years and even given it top reviews. Last weekend a group of 4 of us and were passing through and stopped there to eat a late lunch based upon my recommendation. Arriving a few minutes before 2:00 in the afternoon we were quickly seated. One of our party subsequently asked if they were going to replenish the chicken pot pie (the container was scraped pretty much clean) and the response was that no, they closed from 2:00 to 4:00. That was the first we were notified of such. Upon paying for our meal I asked about this practice and was informed it was something they had just started doing. Rest assured we'll not be back!

WHY? What kind of family restaurant closes at 2 PM on a Sunday? Most people go to church and then after church they would like to go someplace and enjoy a good meal together with family and friends if they don’t wanna cook at home. We drove 35 minutes only to find out that it closes at 2 PM never again my wasting a trip out here. I know that I can’t be the only person that feels this way

Look I don't leave bad reviews but I'm still sitting here and the buffet was terrible I eat out a lot and this is indeed in the top 3worst restaurant experience I've ever had from the tea with 4ice cubes too the ribletts so tuff I couldn't eat them corn bread from yesterday old chicken tenders the veggies on buffet wernt terrible but even the cake for dessert was awful ? please take my advice go another block n eat McDonald's I haven't paid yet so I'm gonna really be upset if this cost more than 30bucks for 2people one trip on buffet it was truthfully that bad.....

A great hole in the wall buffet restaurant that has a lot of food verieties available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, at a price you just can not beat, especially at breakfast time!
If you are railfanning in Folkston, I would highly reccomend coming here to get breakfast inbetween trains.
