What has happened to Captain D's in Forsyth, Georgia?? Ever since the sweet woman who worked there for 38 years retired the place has turned down & today... Absolutely horrible! Hush puppies were mushy, fried shrimp had been sitting so long they were limp & the coleslaw was turning sour. SAD because it used to be excellent 😢

Lady at drive thru never smiled. Not pleasant at all. Food was terrible, deviled crab was not done. Made me sick!! Threw up.

Internet stated the dining room was open til 10:00pm. When I arrived at 9:28pm, the sign on door stated dining room was open til 10, the dining room doors were locked and couldn’t get in. Had to find another place to eat.

On Sunday 11/17/2025 my husband and I walked into this pigsty of a restaurant. Boy was it nasty!!! The lead cashier was in the back eating where food is supposed to be prepared. Trash was overflowing, the condiments containers were filthy, and the floors looked as if they had not been mopped in five years! The customer service wasn’t needed because upon eyeing this mess I decided not to order. In my opinion this place needs to be shut down and properly cleaned.

Shrimps were mushy once you bit into them and had a very weird taste to them along with the fish. Its like the grease may have been bad. The fries were cold.
Potato was very hard.

This is with waiting in the drive thru for 15mins for the food.

We're not locals therefore turning around was not an option. I did call and speak with the manager in hopes of being compensated if/whenever I am back in town (Thank you) because throwing $25 plus away in today's hard times doesn't sit well with me.

Oil was old or they use so different oil than in Florida. Taste was different not bad just not as good.

I actually never got my food. The person at drive thru had an attitude and was huffing. I told her she did not have to get an attitude and she said ok bye. Poor service and I will make sure to let everyone know.

Boy Wonder

Ordered a 3 piece fish that was the worst I have ever tasted. Didn't taste like fish at all more like flavorless rubbery chicken. Needless to say say I'll never visit again

So where to begin I felt bad for the boy working it seems he was doing it all himself. Cook, counter and drive thru. So when in drive thru 30 + mins. But I don’t know what was going on with the food, ordered the ultimate platter no fish 2 crabs, and 2 types of shrimp, then the supreme platter no fish 2 crab 2 chicken and shrimp. Would like to have known if they were out of fish. Reason we even went there. Since when do you just decide to put whatever you want into an order? Not give the customer what they ordered. Now $42 later my husband has been sick to his stomach and heartburn from hell.
