⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the Drive — Excellent Dinner and a Comfortable, Unforced Atmosphere
My friends and I traveled up from Macon and enjoyed dinner at Her Majesty’s Kitchen last night; it ended up being one of those evenings where everything just felt right — the food, the atmosphere, the pacing, all of it working together without any fuss.
We parked right up front and were immediately seated. No wait / No reservation / No problem.
The dining room has a calm, steady feel to it. Clean and inviting, not overly decorated, and clearly designed so people can actually enjoy having a conversation. The lighting is soft without being dim, and the room stays at a comfortable noise level where you never feel like you’re talking over anyone. It’s the kind of space where you can settle in and unwind. Accommodating instead of flooding your senses.
Service fit the mood exactly: friendly, relaxed, and attentive in a natural way. No rushing, no hovering — just thoughtful pacing.
We ordered a wide range of dishes, and everything was consistently excellent. The Boudin Balls arrived hot with a crisp exterior and a rich, savory interior. The Old Fashioned cocktails were balanced and properly made by someone who knows what they're doing.
The entrées were where the kitchen really showed its depth. The Pork au Poivres was one of the standouts — perfectly cooked pork with a deep, peppery cognac sauce, served with truffle mashed potatoes and charred lemon broccolini. Every component tasted intentional and well-executed. Nothing was an afterthought.
The New Orleans Style Red Beans & Rice had an honest, slow-cooked depth, the kind you only get when someone lets the pot go long enough to build real flavor. The accompanying roasted chicken was tender, with a subtle crispy edge that comes from being cooked just right.
The Pepper Jelly Lamb Chops were another highlight: a beautiful char on the outside, a tender center, and a glaze that added a touch of sweetness without overpowering the meat. They had the perfect balance of crispy sear and juicy interior that’s hard to pull off consistently. Easily one of the most memorable dishes of the night.
The Baked Chicken served with the red beans and rice dish surprised me too. It’s a simple dish, but this one had some real depth of flavor — moist, well-seasoned, and finished with just enough browning to give it a satisfying texture. Nothing bland or forgotten about it; it tasted like someone really cared about getting it right.
Dessert was the white chocolate pear bread pudding, warm and comforting without being overly sweet — a great finish to the meal.
What stood out most was the consistency across the entire experience: honest atmosphere, thoughtful service, and food that delivers on every plate. Compared to what’s available in Macon, this place is operating on a higher level.
The short drive to Forsyth is absolutely worth it. We all left saying the same thing: we’ll be back, gladly.

We went on a Saturday night and everything was amazing. Great atmosphere with live (good) music. The service was spectacular. And the food 10/10 - The steak and lamb chops were cooked to perfection, and the mashed potatoes so yummy. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Never heard of this place until we went on Sunday! This is by far the best restaurant I have been to in the middle Georgia area! Great atmosphere, beautifully decorated, the food was top notch as well! Definitely looking forward to the next visit!

My church family and I had our Double Honor event last night at this establishment. It wasnt hard to find, parking was plentiful. The layout and decorum of the place is absolutely beautiful. The staff that served did it in excellence, they were so kind and helpful. The food overall was good! I really enjoyed the pickled asparagus appetizers.
Thank you for excellent service! God bless you!

I was here for a Bridal Tea Party brunch and everything was Amazing. The place is very warm and inviting and the food is Amazing. The owner was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. She even came out and took pictures and videos for us. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to return to try the dinner menu.
Dining here was a lovely experience. It is a must attend. How many people get to eat in the restaurant of the winner of America's Next Top Chef?

Husband brought me here for my birthday, he knew I loved it, I come by nearly every week, but the steak I order has been not as good as it has been. Husband ordered the Duck Au Poivre, he loves duck. I was excited for him to get a good duck dinner, it wasn’t, Very tiny piece, and was terrible. I ordered His majesty’s dinner, “rare”, my ribeye (if it was ribeye) was cooked medium to well done, extremely dry, no seasoning at all. The loaded mashed potatoes were very bland… I also ordered another side, Alfredo pasta, I do not know what was in it but it was horrible, taste like maybe horse radish that was so strong, it burned my tongue. We had an appetizer, spinach dip, nothing to write home about… The waitress was too concerned with spending time at another table & catering to them that we husband ran out of tea 3 times… $100bill for this, we will not be back 😓
The food is above average. The gumbo best I have eaten. Felt like in New Orleans. Service only rated 4 due to being short staffed that day. Well worth the price and will return soon.
