I haven't been to a Shoneys in years so I was excited to eat here with my son. The hostess was very nice and we were seated immediately. My son got the buffett and I got the baked spaghetti with cheese & garlic bread. My son said the buffett was ok. Not a huge selection but what was there was tasty according to him. My spaghetti 🍝 was hot & so good! Lots of mozzarella on top and garnished with parsley. The garlic bread was so-so. I wish I had room for Shoneys Hot Fudge Cake! Maybe next time!! If we come through this way again, we would definitely eat here again!
Parking: Huge parking lot! There was even a tour bus parked here & I didn't even notice until I saw it leaving!

I heard recently that Shoney's had to close a lot of their restaurants, so it's lucky that this one survived. I was heading down to Florida today and this was right on the way, so I decided to pay it a visit.
Prior to this, I hadn't been at a Shoney's for nearly 9 years, and I didn't remember what it was like very well, so I was coming in with a fresh perspective. I found it enjoyable. Is it the best buffet? No. Does it have the most selection? No. Does the food taste absolutely amazing? No, not in my opinion. However, it is a good restaurant in its own right. I appreciate that it has nearly all the basics of American cuisine, and then some. It's not trying to be a little bit of everything like Golden Corral; it focuses specifically on American fare, and it does that fairly well.
I would also like to mention that the staff are some of the nicest and friendliest I've seen at a restaurant in a while. They were great to talk to and very helpful. Overall, Shoney's feels very homely and down-to-earth, and I appreciate that. I hope this location is able to survive the shutdowns.

This is one of the best dine in restaurants I’ve ever eaten at,, would advise anyone to visit!! Really good food, people have nice personality and all you can eat from many varieties of choice

Food was decent, service was pretty good, but the cleanliness definitely leaves something to be desired. Avoid the bathrooms if you can help it; they don't look like they've been touched in weeks.
