The food today was disappointing. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu because the other options didn't look appetizing or edible.
They offer a short-order line where you can get a hamburger, hot dog, and fries if you prefer. For those interested in vegetarian options, they do have a salad bar available. They also offer some fruit choices.
The lady at the front was friendly and provided great service, but the rest of the staff was less impressive. I can understand why they might not be thrilled to work there.
Personally, I won't be returning. I paid for my meal, but if you're looking for a free dining experience, you might want to give it a try.

The administration at the Airborne DFAC shows a serious lack of organization and fairness toward Transition Soldiers. Despite the fact that we are also Army Soldiers and pay for this DFAC, we were forced to wait over an hour to eat, while priority was given to Airborne companies—even after they arrived. This delay happened outside of duty hours, making it even more unacceptable. All soldiers deserve fair treatment and an efficient food distribution system!

Pancakes/waffles are either rocks or as advertised with rock edges. Russian Roulette.
Chicken tenders are either crunchy or soggy. Also Russian Roulette.
All in all, why am I here...
Also, Coffee... one of the machines works, one side of the machine switches daily between coffee and water, the other is questionably coffee. Basically it's puddle water army coffee as usual.

I've eaten breakfast lunch and dinner here. Lunch and dinner are the same as every other DFAC. Breakfast is Nottoway bad but you aren't able to get omelets like you can in other DFAC's
