This place is a local treasure! It’s full of nostalgic charm and friendly people, but the food is the real star attraction! Killer ribs, cold beers, perfect onion rings and fried mushrooms. The patty melt and burgers are all good. The catfish and shrimp are perfectly fried or grilled every time. Service is very attentive. Food is cooked to order so give them a minute to get it to you. It’ll be hot and fresh.
I had the ribs and they were awesome. Exactly the way I like them cooked with great flavor! I had their original BBQ sauce which was perfect. I tried their bourbon BBQ sauce and the flavor was also great. If you want BBQ this is definitely the place to go!
Love KJ’s. We try to go on Thursdays for half-price appetizers but we try to go alot more as their food is wonderful and love the atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly too. Love the cold frosted mugs.
