Visited the restaurant for the first time this past Saturday. The food comes out hot and in a timely manner, the staff are friendly and Miss Dot makes you feel like family. The hush puppies are the best I've ever had and the chicken tenders were outstanding! I live 2 + hours away but it is well worth a day trip.
Good food, surprising flavor. Not everything is fried, I was thankful for that. Shocking that at those prices that the restaurant uses plastic flatware and bowls, though. Overall good experience.
Very pricey, crowded and hot, but worth it all!! Delicious fried fish and the shrimp were outstanding! I'll be back when I have time to get the "all you can eat catfish" dinner. ?
