In a world where authenticity is king its nice to still have food by establishments who take the risk of adding "fusion" items or personal touches on staples.El Jefe take just as good as any other Mexican restaurant but it is these "fusion" or "twists" that truly shine. First time eating here but it was highly recommended so we had to try it. Great food! My only complaint is that I didn't receive my beef and cheese dip appetizer until my meal arrived, we received our Esquite before the meal but was told they had to cook the beef for the dip. Maybe next time will be better. Again, all the food was great! If you haven't tried this place out, you should.
Outstanding service, food with an excellent atmosphere. Try the Birria tacos, burritos, or ramen. They are so, SO good. Also, their mango Margareta is outstanding. It's our favorite place in Fort Valley yet.They even have Taco Tuesdays $2 for their outstanding tacos. Woo-hoo
