This Guy's BBQ And Stew

This was the first time I had eaten there but it definitely will not be the last. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and the owner, Steve, was very friendly, polite and patient. I recommend anyone who enjoys BBQ, stew, and other homemade sides to stop in and give it a try. U won't be disappointed

While there is no indoor seating and little outdoor space, it was pleasant eating beside a small lake swathed in the aroma of the smoker.

You can’t beat the service because the owner does it all. He’s friendly and accommodating.

The pork sandwich was moist. The tomato-based sauce was tasty without being too spicy. The baked beans were hot off the stove and a little sweet. And the potato salad was just right. Made with a touch of mayonnaise and diced pickles, it was far better than the gooey, yellow mess usually served at restaurants and grocery stores.

One drawback is the lack of a high chair. Most people must take their food to eat at home or picnic at nearby Chattahoochee Bend State Park.

I'm lucky to have this place on my mail route that I service daily.....The owner is always so nice and professional. I usually get the bbq'd chicken sandwich which is always simply amazing. But today he had a menu special " BBQ Reuben sandwich".....OMG is all I can say. If u haven't visited this gem on hwy 34 between Franklin and Newnan......your missing out!!!! Go now!!!

This place is the REAL DEAL. A genuine hole-in-the-wall BBQ place owned and operated by someone who has a real passion for what he does. Sure, it doesn’t look like a restaurant, but you’re going to get a quality meal for a good price. I had the brisket and stew, and regretted neither. 5/5Notes: road-side location, window service, limited parking. I went before the rush so I didn’t see how busy it got. If you’re in the area though you won’t want to miss it!

I never knew this place existed. I only found this from Ryan Hall Y'all's YouTube channel when I was rewatching his live stream of covering the Newnan Tornado that I wouldn't find until almost 2 years after. This Guy's was one of the locations Ryan was pointing out in the path of the tornado. After being close by I decided to give this place a try. That is some good BBQ. I had the brisket, potato salad, and stew. All 3 were delicious. I was impressed. The guy is also very nice and can have a good conversation with. I would highly recommend anyone to try this place. They are only open for lunch Monday through Saturday. It's about a 10 to 15 minute drive from Newnan on 34 going towards Heard County and Franklin but I think it's worth the drive.

Very polite and welcoming ! The BBQ was excellent very tasteful! The potato salad was tasty kinda like German potato salad. The slaw is sweet and has relish in it much try it very unique! Thanks this Guy BBQ !

Incredible pulled pork! It's an unassuming roadside location and easy to pass by, but you've got to stop. Steve is so kind and the food is incredible.

Me and my husband had This Guy’s BBQ for lunch today and it was very good!! We both enjoyed the BBQ sandwich and the sides that came with it!! Very yummy and will be back!!
