Shaniyah gave New Mount Zion Baptist Church exceptional service on tonight. Every time we come to Carey Hillard on Hwy 80, Shaniyah also greets us with a warm smile. The food was prepared with Love and the temperature was just right! When we come back to dine again...we would love to have Shaniyah, she makes everything possible.

This was our first visit to the Garden City restaurant; it was a disappointment. The server came back to the table 4 times and asked us what we ordered. She took our appetizer to 3 different tables before getting it to us. My plate took one hour from the time I ordered it. My companion received her food after one half an hour and it had made it's way to 3 different tables before landing on ours with an order of fried flounder that belonged to another table. The server blamed it all on the cooks. Having said that, the food (except for the nasty pasta salad) was good and consistent with the quality of other Carey Hilliards establishments. The fried pickles and the hush puppies at any Carey Hilliards are the best that one can find. However, we will not return to this particular establishment.
Every time I go to this location I ask for my wings to be fried hard and they are never fried hard and it’s only this location that does that. I always call back and tell them but i be on my lunch breaks so i have to get back to work and i can never go back up there. I’m sick of this!!! Need to do better !!
My pasta was so over cooked, chicken wings were extremely salty,string beans were horrible what ever seasoning was used should not have been used

I've always loved Kerry Hilliard since I was a little girl. Great family restaurant with good food and great service.
Vegetarian options: Outside of salads and side items there's not a lot of strictly vegetarian dishes.
Parking: Parking lot is somewhat small, so parking can be difficult if it's busy.
Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant kid friendly with a kids menu. They offer paper menus and crayons for the kids.
