Very small and not the cleanest. The curry shrimp was a little more gelatin textured than expected but flavorful. I love the rice and peas. The Cabbage is also good. Service is quick and pleasant. This is a typical local pick up food joint. Nothing fancy but good food.
Review UPDATE: This was my favorite Jamaican restaurant when I moved to Savannah a few years ago but idk if I’ll return. Last time I came I got sick so I waited a year to return and this time the chicken looks too pink and undercooked. It looks more boiled with gravy on top. I know native jerk chicken is more a dry rub and I never had a problem with how they made theirs however, I was too leery to eat it. My husband said he noticed the same exact thing when he went last time....
I order on DoorDash every time and every time it’s delicious. Just bought my mom a plate and now she wants to visit and get a plate. I ordered the jerk chicken, peas and rice, with macaroni and cheese. I highly recommend never disappointed.
