Mizu - Sushi & Hibachi Restaurant

My fiancée and I have been coming here for a long time, we are always met with a big warm smile from the owner. Her and her family are the absolute best people ever, she is always very sweet to us. For the 4 years we’ve eaten here, not once did the price increase or the quality decrease. There’s a few misleading reviews on here claiming “racism” and the staff being rude. Don’t believe everything you read, this is our favorite restaurant in the Savannah area.

Incredibly hard working and kind staff that brought out sushi that had me do a genuine wiggle of excitement at how good it was. I only saw 2 staff and the food came so fast they were very obviously doing their absolute best and their best was some of the best service I had in a long time. Get the golden mango roll!

So the items we ordered were well presented and were to-go, my wife wasn't fond of their taste but I hope that she gives the place another chance as I enjoyed my food.

This was a pleasant surprise. My dad is a very harsh critic and even he said it was good and he would go back again!

Food: we ordered the teriyaki chicken and 2 sesame chicken plates. We asked them to cook it extra crispy and they did! They added a small free appetizer for new years as well! They were 3 little egg rolls served with sweet and spicy sauce and it was delicious! With tip included, we paid just under $60 for 3 people and the food was worth it.

Service: the waitress was very sweet and kind and the gentleman who took our order was great as well.

Atmosphere: From the outside, we were a little worried, but it was pleasantly beautiful inside when we walked in! The music was very peaceful and hinted a romantic night out. The pictures on the wall added to the Japanese or Chinese ascetic they were after. I would totally take a lady on a date here.

most bomb food ever and lovely server

There is a difference between pad Thai and lo mein. I ordered pad Thai. I got lo mein with peanuts. That’s not the same. Not at all. Pad Thai has rice noodles. I was very disappointed.

Very nice small place. Everyone was very friendly and the food was delicious. I think, considering today's costs and prices, their pricing is fair and well worth it. There is a small language barrier, but kindness and respect can always help with that, plus you can point at the menu or gesture what you need. Body language is universal. I found it very welcoming, authentic, and quaint.

Racism is alive and well... The menu prices are SUPER innacurate. Definetly ILLEGAL! The food was not worth the trouble nor the money I spent. I would have got a refund if I could have.

Fair prices, simple but solid flavors, a clean interior, and friendly staff made for a pleasant dining experience. I preferred the rolls and sushi over the sashimi.
