My husband and I are from Opelika, Al and came in Grantville for a visit. We went to ReUse The Past for architectural items. We asked for a recommendation for lunch and the owners daughter recommended Reds to us. We went and the young man (he said he was the owners son) was extremely polite. We had a very minimal wait time. The atmosphere is cute like a 50’-60’s diner. Our food hit the table and it was hot and delicious.
We ordered wings and fries.
The wings were some of the best I have ate and they were huge! The hand cut fries were amazing! You don’t get hand cut fresh fries much anymore.
We will definitely be back to the area and will definitely stop at Red’s Grub Shack.

I would not eat here simply because of the way they respond to reviews. No guess work here... I am from Alabama and travel quite a bit. I do look at reviews before I eat anywhere. My family and I went here last Friday evening and the people and food were absolutely fantastic! Best burger I've had ever! Owner and everyone were super friendly! I will definitely go back! We even played uno with my granddaughter while they fixed our food! Thanks Red for a fun evening!

First time I tried their wings, they were way overcooked and to salty. Second time I ate there, I learned I have to ask for mayo on a blt!! 3rd time was great, Red was there, all 5 orders of wings were to perfection. Ate wings yesterday. Over cooked wings, undercooked frys, and way to salty. I guess the Cooks need training yet.
