If you've never been to Berens, your missing out! It's important to note, they make their ice cream fresh, daily, so they only carry three fresh flavors; Vanilla, Chocolate, and a flavor of the day. And while you can get other flavors that are packaged in pints in their fridge, you can't beat fresh custard! My family loves this place, and we will continue to visit for years to come.
The ice cream was good, but I suppose something was just bothering me that I wanted to share. Working today was one female and one male employee, both probably teenagers. They both were not rude in any way, but the hour I was there, neither of them had a smile on their face at any point. Frozen custard shouldn't taste this good 😊. The young lady that took my order was so professional. She greeted us with a warm smile and a pleasant hello.
