This was a delivery order which I order from their website.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture, but we ordered a Malita and a quesadillas minus the steak. This is the second time I’ve ordered a Malita and both timesI received the wrong item.
I went back to the menu to make sure I wasn’t crazy for order the wrong items and I noticed that the descriptions don’t match what you’re ordering. The Malita was basically a large taco. It was cold, the sauce not good and I had to remove the ham which also didn’t look appealing. My daughter requested that steak be removed from her order and it was delivered with steak so she gave the steak to me, but it was terrible.
Basically both orders were not good and when you’re paying $44 for two items you expect them to be of much better quality.

I'm sitting here alone, ordering a to go order. Asking them a question regarding a menu item just seems to piss them off. We just need to stop coming here because they never treat customers properly, it's almost like we're a nuisance.

I've been seeing this little hidden gem for awhile when I'm on Grayson Hwy..Decided to stop in for a late lunch on Tuesday. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Have to say the margaritas are pretty good also. I might have had two 🤫🤭

I love the service, I ordered Pollo con camarón and I loved it. My server was very nice and everyone greeted me nicely, I felt at home. My husband ordered the huarache and he also loved it.

These were the most nastiest tacos I’ve ever had!!!! I went to there to order and literally by the time I made it to my car my tacos were already soggy!!!! Only thing decent was the side of fries I ordered but how can you mess that up, it’s fries. The broth for my quesabirria had NO TASTE, neither did the meat! Also the broth looked like pure seasoned oil 🤮. I will NEVER go back here.

The food was fresh and delicious! The staff were amazing and so attentive. There was never any want or desire not immediately taken care of. Pedro was the best waiter we've had in forever. This place goes out of its way to offer its customers the best dining experience they can. I will be coming back here many many more times!

We found this Don Jose’s in Grayson not too long ago and went in when it was not busy. The service was good. The food was great and we were laughing a joking with the staff as we left. The next time we came in it was a little busier and the service not so good but the food still very good. Then there was today. I went with my wife for lunch and when we arrived it was not busy. I did notice the people that were there seemed to be regulars and latino or at least Spanish speakers and were getting served promptly.
We waited and waited finally a server came over and asked what we wanted to drink She then disappears only to emerge and go to another table. She finally brings our water after another long wait and starts to walk off. We had to stop her and tell her we were hungry and ready to order and ask for chips. She seemed annoyed but took our order. Then the wait began again. Another person brought us chips.
We watched as she had long conversations in Spanish with other people who came in after us, yet still no food. A couple were served before us. After about another 10 mins our food came out but my order was missing a key component, the tortillas so I had to ask for them. So then I waited as my meal got cold as she again went to other tables, chatted in Spanish and generally ignored us. Finally I got my tortillas and enjoyed the food as usual if not a little cold, but then the wait began to get our check.
They new we were done because they literally were clearing our plates as we finished but they could not bring a check. I was literally about to walk out without paying when my wife went and got the server and told her we were leaving and if she wanted us to pay to bring the check.
The difference between the service we received and the other Spanish speakers was very obvious. We are always vey nice to servers as we both have worked as a server in the past so it was nothing we did.
Perhaps it has something to do with politics and my being an older white male but they should not make assumptions as they are creating what they may be assuming. It turned what was one of our newer favorite restaurants into a now not sure I will ever go there again.
