Chicken is surprisingly good. WAY better than the flavor-less stuff at Raising Cane’s. Could the place use some color to help differentiate it? Yes, but the chicken is good for the price. Try the $8 three-piece combo and you won’t regret it

Guthries used to be in athens where Canes is now. I left school early for the work release class at high school. I'd go there for lunch and grab food for my friend's and I. Good times I hope they come back if not to Athens some where close
Chicken was pretty good, fries were too done for my taste, and I saw in another review about the fries being over cooked.
Unfortunately the staff was not good, someone was yelling at people multiple times while we were there. The music they had on was good, but really loud...maybe to cover fir the yelling. If that was the manager....they need to get it together!

I love Guthrie’s. I am from up north never experienced a chicken so good and listen when you stop by make sure Dillon is there because his sweet tea is better than my grandma sweet tea. He puts his foot in it and his customer service is better than Chick-fil-A.
