If looking for real tasting Jamaican food cooked by actual Jamaican cooks then look no further. They have all the Jamaican classic dishes. On the weekends they have porridge, ackee & saltfish, fried dumplings & festivals. They also have the best banana bread!
Been in Gwinnett for 5 years and haven't found a good caribbean spot until my wife's cousin told us about this place. The people are friendly and the service was great. Had the curry goat and Roti, even though we are use to Guyanese curry, their curry was full of flavor and right amount of spice. Roti was also good and fluffy. Definitely coming back
I’ve been coming here for 14 years. I can attest that this is the best Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to, and it’s affordable. You can get a dinner plate to eat in two sittings for $12. Many restaurants can’t beat the price. It does get busy here sometimes but it’s so worth it! Check it out Atlanta, this is my top recommendation for Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine in the Metro, Ionie’s Caribbean Kitchen!
