Waited 1.5 hours for our food while on our lunch break. The waiter said the wait was because of having to get some silverware. Waiter only came by twice the entire time. Noticed most of the room also had no food the entire 1.5 hours. The food was just mediocre. This is the 2nd time I've tried to eat here it's the same results. Won't be back.

First time there Saturday. Looked at menu before we got there. I was set in prime rib and they don’t have it so I chose a filet medium rare. I get it and looks good took a nice size bite and all I could taste was burn meat. I turned it over and the whole back side was burnt! I sent it back and I’m the last one eating now get the new one and burnt again on the back side so I just cut the burn off and ate it. Our bill was $120. Who ever is on the grill needs to be retrained. I think this place would be ok if you’re wanting to eat light. The salad that I order was the best thing thete. We will not be back

So disappointed with out first visit. Long wait for our food- and nothing ordered special- straight from the menu. Upon arrival, my eggs Benedict were actually eggs poached so long, they were more like hard boiled. This menu had many Benedict offerings, so very disappointed with the food and slow service.

Return visit. Waitress was Liz, she was awesome.Ordered another BLT from the lunch menu, was perfect,(had no onions on it and Liz said the BLT doesn't come with onions on it.)

Ordered a BLT from their lunch menu. I asked the waitress if it was only bacon, lettuce & tomato, nothing extra added. She said yes that was all. When it arrived there were raw onions on it. I pointed it out to her and she said that is the way they make them (the onions were not listed on the menu). She said if I send it back there would be a long wait to get it since they were busy. I picked them off (I HATE RAW ONIONS), there was also no mayo on it. I asked for some mayo, never got it. I also paid cash, I was to get back $1 and change, she never gave me back my change so that was her tip. There were 7 of us and I wasn't the only one that she messed up on. One of the guys, she had to go back and find his credit card.

The food was delicious, and my server was great! Nikki was very attentive, and Sam himself came and made sure we had a good experience. Will be going back.

I thought this place looked like a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat but I was sadly mistaken. Our server completely forgot about us. Sat there for 20 minutes having a nice conversation with my husband but no one came to take our order. “I’m sorry” does not matter when the restaurant was not that busy. Talking to the hostess/coworker and not taking our order surprised us.

I don't know what happened to this restaurants but it is not the same. My husband ordered a meatless flatbread pizza and received it with chicken and bacon on it. I ordered a Grayson Market salad and it came with a teasspoon of lettuce, a bunch of cranberries, chicken and nuts. And where is the cashew salad dressing?? Very disappointing!!! Sams on Main, you have lost a customer for life.

We just had lunch there took us 20 minutes before anybody served us a lot of staff, but nobody actually paying attention to the customers. I ordered a chicken Shawarma pita it came cold with the pita bread so hard that I couldn’t bite into it and covered in feta after I asked them not to put it on there, I notified another waitress because I couldn’t find mine. She said she get me a new one made. I waited another 25 minutes as my husband ate his meal And the manager finally came over and asked what I wanted to do after sitting almost 35 minutes with No food I asked them to box mine up, in retrospect. I wish I would’ve just had credit my bill manager sit at the bar chatting while customer were left without service.

Terrible customer service my husband Salad he had wilted lettuce and the food that we did have delivered subpar at best . I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I honestly can't believe the experience. I'm still dumbfounded. I was highly anticipating my meal, craving the knockout shrimp and mashed potatoes. I go inside the restaurant to pickup my order and there’s no one at the pickup spot. As myself and others waited, a young girl let us know she would get the woman to help us. I kid you not, the girl had to search for the woman. After 7-10 minutes of waiting, the woman comes to the pickup area. Despite being there first, she helps another group before me—not a huge deal. When she gets to me, my order is mixed up with someone else’s. Thankfully, it was just one item. Annoying, but again, not a major problem. What is a problem is my food tasting horrible. The two highly anticipated items were beyond disappointing. My knockout shrimp was extremely salty, and more breading than shrimp. My mashed potatoes—revolting. Why did I crunch on my mashed potatoes with my first few bites, like it was potato chips? They used to be smooth and amazing. Extremely saddened by this experience because I used to rave about the food, especially the mashed potatoes! I was just telling someone about them last week. Don’t know what happened. I would be more understanding about bad food if they were busy, but it was all of 2 people sitting down in the restaurant. I would greatly appreciate being contacted about a refund.

I absolutely understand that service can be slow during a lunch rush, but I came in just to order some hummus to go & there were two servers behind the counter who kept their backs to us without a greeting or anything, and many others passing us. So we just left because I wasn't comfortable demanding anyone's attention for one item.

Food and service are usually great. Not so much this visit. Service was slow and terrible. Food was just OK. We got a wrong order, but said nothing as we didn't want it to add to the wait.

On a positive note, the new addition looks great.

This was my first time eating there. My business partner took me to lunch. The waitress seemed to put us last on here list to bring out our food. Which was like warm. I think the gyro plates should have just as a priority as got food due to the being cooked before its added to the pita bread and topped with the salad.

I have always enjoyed Sam's, so this review is hard for me. When we arrived (a group of 6), there were several tables of diners outside and one inside. Our server was friendly, but basically disappeared after taking our orders--4 of us ordered the same thing, the Grayson Market Salad, my personal favorite. We waited an hour for our food, with no explanation, no offer of refills on drinks, no one checking in with us. When food finally arrived, my salad looked like it had been spilled on the counter and just thrown back into the bowl. It was mostly tired Romaine with very little else. I've had side salads that were bigger and had more in them. One other diner sent their salad back. We were finally offered refills. The restrooms need some attention and maintenance. I'm hoping this was just an off day for this restaurant!
