Ordered food for my mother’s birthday today through Uber Eats they couldn’t even bother to include HER MEAL. Can’t even get them on the phone for help.

Had to ask waitress to bring us biscuits and condiments we asked for twice. Was more interested in table behind us.

Cracker Barrel just keeps going downhill. Food subpar. Ordered a side of dumplings and it was like soup. Had 1 dumpling in the bowl. Just doesn’t seem to be the restaurant it once was. Even the food presentation wasnt appealing.

Okra taste was off . It’s one of my favorite items, but this Time it tasted raw on inside, but was fried on outside.
Restaurant was extremely hot, temperature setting and fire going together on a semi warm day was uncomfortable.
Why bring 2 biscuits for 2 people? Either 2 so we each get 1 or 4 so we each get 2.

Got there and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Certainly doable. After 30 minutes I asked the host about how much longer and she said 5 minutes. Our total wait time to be seated was 56 minutes. Would I have waited that long NO. We would have got elsewhere but after 30 minutes and being told 5 more minutes you are kinda in it for the long hall. Very unable with the host’s ability to give an accurate seating time.

I was very disappointed in my experience. I joined the waitlist online and it said there was an estimated 5 min wait and to go to the hostess stand to check in on arrival. I had to wait about 5 mins for someone to come over. When the hostess finally came over she said it’s going to be a 30 to 40 min wait. I asked oh the online waitlist isn’t accurate? It said 5 mins.. she said no that’s not accurate. Mind you it’s a party of 2. So I said ok we will wait. Then I asked if we would get a text when the table is ready she said yes.. so we walked back to the car in the rain and as soon as I got in the car they texted the table is ready. It seems to me that she gave us a long wait time to get us to leave and then when we decided to stay now we get in at the original wait time I was given.I didn’t appreciate that. Please don’t waste my time.. .then we ordered what we always order the Grandma Sampler and the food was ehhh .. grits were nasty. Everything else was cold. Pancakes were the best part. Dining room was dirty and it was half empty. People standing around talking when they could be sweeping the floor and wiping the tables. I will say our waitress was pleasant but I was given dirty silverware and was not given any refills on our drinks.

Love Cracker Barrel and the food is delicious! Our server was just a bit slow and didn't listen to details (like flavor of soda and adding for things to go). But we'll be going back many times!

We 3 arrived and put name on list and was told 40 minutes.we waited and never heard our name called. Then, as we asked the hostess, she said I called you and I said no mam you did not and did not call the phone. She put our name in incorrectly and therefore it was not announced. She never called the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and she refused to let us talk with management. I told her we should be seated. She was very rude and did speak to us and grabbed menus and never even said follow me. We were being punished for her mistake. Our server was slow and we had to ask for tea and we asked for some biscuits before the meal because we were hungry and never got them. We had to ask for napkins, for some sides we didn't have and other. I was very disappointed in our total experience. This has always been one of our favorite places to eat. This was a disappointment Sunday.
