El Gringo Mexican Grill

Just moved here from San Antonio and we were looking for some good Mexican food… This is the spot to go. The birria tacos and consome were phenomenal! We ordered takeout, but the restaurant looks super clean and has a nice vibe. Highly recommend… We will be back!

Very clean. Kitchen was missing almost a quarter of the menu. I ordered off the lunch menu while my 3 guests ordered anything else and they brought out 2,2 minutes later no.3. I had to wait about 7 minutes for the easiest plate. Didn't have any pico de guys. The lunch crowd was gone and only had 3 tables to serve.
No one at my table said that their food was good.

Got the birria tacos and some horchata with my boys, the tacos were so good I was smiling every bite. the horchata was in a big ole mug and was also delicious. absolute 5 star restaurant, I will definitely be going here again and again.

So fresh, delicious, juicy, flavorful and amazing!!! Atmosphere is so calm yet so lively at the same time! Staff is the absolute SWEETEST and kind I ever met and I love how they treat you with the utmost respect. You constantly see them cleaning the restaurant even when it's busy. If your mouth didn't water for the food I posted I don't know what will! Been here several times and I have yet to have 1 bad experience! Everything is absolutely amazing! If you want good authentic Mexican food look no further ?

Right in the middle of old town Grovetown decor is nice service is first class very attentive very cold beer food is outstanding and prices are very good in the budget

Best Mexican food in the CSRA! We eat here 2-3 times a month. It's consistently delicious and the staff are so kind. It's a lovely family owned restaurant, spacious seating, and delightful music. The food (including sliced avacados) is fresh every time. This is our permanent go-to for Mexican food. Give El Gringo a visit!!!

Parking: Never any trouble parking.

Street tacos were really good but their birria tacos (quesabirria style) we’re SO GOOD.

we ordered their guac which was fine but it was basically just mashed up avo. No chopped veggie/cilantro etc in their guac. Free chips and salsa good, margarita regular size $5.99 but $1 extra for flavors (which it didn’t say on the menu fyi).

They have specials every day also and the horchata fireball drink for $7 was super tasty! Would def go back

Better than the bell, not as good as other similar establishments in the area.

Went for dinner and wasn’t disappointed, the food was good and the attentive service was good but back to the food. My 11 year old wanted fry’s but got nacho’s and now wants to cook back everyday. Soft tacos was good and believe it or not I had the gringo monster burger, yes I said burger at a Mexican restaurant. Man was it GOOD real good. Only minor thing was the beef taco a little salty but still good. You need to visit. I’ll add pic next time we visit.
