“Our meal was absolutely delicious. We both ordered the Filet Mignon; I upgraded mine with grilled mushrooms and shrimp - medium rare - cooked to perfection. It cut like warm butter. The grilled asparagus was al dente - in my opinion, perfect. Our server was so much fun. And, she knew the best red wine to pair with our meal. Too full for dessert however the choices were very tempting. The perfect temps to be seated outside and it was the perfect girl date night with my best friend. Thankfully we had gift cards to utilize, the menu is not inexpensive. This is fine dining with large portions - it will wake-up your bank account. Worth every penny.“

“Food was wonderful, but we were disappointed to see the tables around us be given a bit more attention to detail. We watched them receive hot towels to wash hands, sorbet palette cleansers, and tables being cleaned between courses. Must have been nice! Before our departure, we were given cotton candy in a shot glass. Not sure if this is the normal presentation, but it felt underwhelming. We didn't stick around to see what the tables on either side of us received. Overall assessment....The food and atmosphere are lovely. The service is a gamble.“

“I first started coming here because the wait at the breakfast place across the street was way too long. However, Ruth’s sat us right away. This diner is now my go-to for breakfast in Augusta. You’ve gotta get the corned-beef hash! And a blueberry pancake, if you have room in your stomach.“

“Service was friendly and excellent. Food was freshly prepared. Great stop if you’re looking for down home food and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

“Ate breakfast here before driving back to Gainesville. Ordered the Sirloin & Eggs breakfast. The meal was alright with the steak being slightly tough but I guess that was because it was the high point of the breakfast hour and there were so many people in the restaurant and the employees were working really hard. An ok experience.

“WAY BETTER THAN WAFFLE HOUSE OR IHOP, This restaurant doesn’t get enough appreciation. Everytime I come here it was always a blessing and a great time being there, recently when I came here, there was this really nice waitress named Lauren who’s extremely kind and courage and just a really sweet lady. The food is really solid and great as always, the people working there are really nice and really cool, the music that was playing is so solid, and the place is just reminds me of the time in the 50s where people used the diner as a hangout area to eat and just hangout after school. DEFINITELY A RECOMMEND! Great Staff, Great Food, and we really really REALLY need more waitresses attitudes like Mrs Lauren cause she is just so sweet and so kind, Lauren if you’re reading this Thank You For Your Kind Attitude & Lighting Up My Morning Mood! Much love goes to you and your staff and restaurant ❤️❤️❤️“
