Would be nice if a recording picked up to let you know what is going on. This is bad service before you get to the door. Placed an order online. Order wasn't even started when I arrived because they'd lost the ticket. Told them to cancel the order since I had to go to work. Still charged my card and refuse to give me a refund. Really rude about it, too. Awful business.

It's been raining lightly all day and upon entering the store there were multiple buckets on the floor AND on the counter! Ordered a simple meal with steak/shrimp hibachi and waited almost 25 minutes for food! It was ok, considering the wait and atmosphere but wouldn't I suggest this place! I came from out of state with a lot of bad hibachi restaurants and this was a couple points above acceptable.

I don't normally think "greasy spoon" and "hibachi steak" in the same breath but this place makes it happen, and is a decent choice despite some weak spots.
The food is largely split into 1: hibachi-style (teppanyaki-style if we're being pedantic) meats with rice and veg and the invariably tasty 'yum-yum sauce' and 2: bulk chicken wings. It's very tasty! I only tried the hibachi side of the menu, but it was good for its price point, excluding other factors below.
The service was neither good nor bad, employees were moving orders and attending to customers efficiently enough, but seemed somewhat low-energy.
The real drawback to this place is the physical place itself: it's not filthy, but the furnishings seem tired and the whole plot of land the restaurant occupies seems to be crumbling away.
The environment and atmosphere are really what make this otherwise perfectly serviceable hibachi place seem to be almost not worth the price, so takeout is probably the best option.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. First of all, the place itself is dirty and needs a good cleaning. We waited 45 minutes for one $12 box of food that didn’t have a single taste to it. The rice was hard, good food ain’t got one bit of seasoning or taste. It was nasty and trash. We waited 45 minutes and she didn’t once say why it was taking so long. Just rudely said your food is the first to come out only for the first food to come out and she calls for the DoorDash order. If you’re not cooking food for half an hour, stop taking orders and shut the door. Don’t waste peoples time for food that belong in the trash.

Without a doubt, some of the best Japanese food I have eaten in the Augusta area. When I don't want to pay for a show at the "cook in front of you" hibachi restaurants but still want to enjoy high quality Japanese eats, I make my way here.
Terrible got there at 8:16 and didn't leave till after nine! Hown was I the last one when I ordered before everybody else I will never go there again waste of time and money

I am from out of state, stopped in for a quick dinner. Wasn't a quick dinner. Gentleman there was working by himself. I was the only one when I arrived, but the phone was ringing off the hook, customers started pouring in. guy kept his cool, seemed to take everything in stride. I would give him another visit if I am in the area again.
