After a few years of avoiding this place, due to an awful, noticeable change in recipe, I finally revisited. The atmosphere was nice with an open kitchen, slight changes were made from the previous business. I spoke to the gentleman behind the counter (owner) and he reassured me that the Slice's flavor has gone back to the way it used to be. Mindful changes had been made. The sauce was made with fresh basil from his garden and the crust would be to my liking. So I went for it. To my great surprise, things have gone back to the way I remember it being, good. The crust no longer carried an usual flavor, the cheese was on point, the crust had the crack, the crisp most NYCers look for. I must admit I have not tried the tomato sauced pizza, which will have to have an update when I do. This review was for an custom Blanca pizza.
The reason for the four star, instead of five was the size of the pizza. The medium is more like a small, it is something two people could eat yet still want more. So I was a little disappointed with the size. I'm not sure what the actual large size would be. Size with price does make a difference to me. Otherwise, they get a italian kiss to the finger tips.

The Slice is such a great place to go and have your favorite pizza and listen to live music! Always have great service and the atmosphere is perfect for the occasion.
Plus, they are expanding to Tifton! Looking forward to visiting that location when it opens.

My family came in about 45 minutes before closing on a Saturday night. We were greeted at the door by the owner, offered appetizers, had drinks delivered, got all the details about food ingredients, enjoyed a well paced meal- and service- all the way through the visit. It was fresh & delicious, and we can’t wait to go back! Please cheer on this great staff & eat local!

My husband and I visited The Slice Pizzaria in Hayhira Georgia...we tried three pizzas , the burratta, the margherita, and the deluxe... I can't say enough about how delicious they were...we are from New York, and his pizza was amazing...the quality of ingredients and crust blew us away.best pizza ever....we loved it and will return again...the dessert blackberry pizza was also amazing...sweet savory and incredibly delicious.the combination of Buffalo mozzarella, honey and berries was five star !!!! Best pizzas we have had in a very long while...the owner , Estell was friendly, informative and a great pizza guy...I loved it.loved it...loved it.....

Truly remarkable customer service that exceeded our expectations! I typically get my pizza to go and it’s always good, but today we dined in for bingo and the manager was very welcoming and hands on. We appreciated the outstanding service. We will be back next week for bingo again!
