The food is really good here. The vegetables with the cornbread..OMG! The turkey wings and pork chops was also good. Will be back to try other things from the menu and the desserts.

Excellent visit at Mommadede's! Food was soulfully good, kind and professional service, and comfortable and clean atmosphere. Smoke wings, collards, yams, potatoe salad, and cornbread were all on point. This was our 1st visit but will not be our last. Next time I am getting the oxtails. Thank you Mommadede's!

Look if you have any complaints about this company you are just being a complete hater! My first experience was so amazing my husband wanted to call and speak to mama personally! I can not explain how good the food was! It was fresh, seasoned just enough and not to much, portions was more than I ever expected and the price is well worth ever bite! If you have not been you need to go! If you went and did not like! Go ahead and cross the street to McDonalds because that is your taste budes!
Only reason I gave half on the Atmosphere is because this is the kind of food you want to take home and eat comfortably! If any of you IG food critics come this way, please be aware that we back Mama all the way and you will be banded from the McDonough/Atlanta area!

We’ve been going to this place since the year they opened. Food is always good, fresh and hot. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get and I also love how they have a variety of options for both bbq/soul food. It’s plenty of options for anyone who wants to grab food here. I’ve had their fish, chicken, turkey wings and oxtail and plenty of sides from here and they are pretty good. The only item that I am not a fan of is their mac and cheese. Noodles can be overcooked and I’m just overall not a fan of the taste but that is just my personal preference. It can get busy but the overall wait time to receive your food is reasonable. I would highly recommend this black owned business on the south side if you want good soul food.
