Dear Papa John’s Customer Service,

I am writing to express my concern regarding an experience I had at your Hampton location on the evening of Friday, May 8th.

When I arrived, I noticed a handwritten sign taped to the drive-thru window stating “window closed.” I proceeded to park and attempted to enter the store, but the door was locked. I then asked an individual standing outside what was going on, and he told me to go back to the drive-thru window.

I returned to the window, and at that point, the staff removed the sign and opened it. When I asked the employee why they were playing this game, she responded by laughing, which I found dismissive and unprofessional.

This experience left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I would appreciate it if this issue could be looked into and addressed to ensure better service and clearer communication for customers in the future.

I have ordered from this store numerous times, however, literally the last two times have been the worst experience ever. The first issue I had last time, was I placed an order online to be delivered and when the pizza arrived, they had given my driver the incorrect order and I called the store and told them. Then I had to drive to the store to pick up my correct item which was then cold by the time I got it back home. This time, (today) I ordered delivery online and it was over an hour and a half late arriving. Why? Because apparently that store doesn’t have any drivers and they redirect all delivery orders to DoorDash which takes two hundred years to even get your order.
Anyways, we received our pizzas and they are both UNDERCOOKED LIKE CRAZY!!! Soggy and cold and almost like trying to eat snot from a piece of raw dough is what the texture was like. It was absolutely disgusting. Plus, whoever cut the pizzas, obviously doesn’t know how to do it properly as there are supposed to be 8 slices, not 5 giant ones. 😒
Idk who the manager is at this location, but get it together Forreal. Huge disappointment.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION..
My first time ordering from here was not a pleasant one . The teenage girl saw mw got out the car walking to the door she place a note on the door then locked the door . Didn't say anything. Again it's my first time ordering from here and eating from here.I went up to the drive thru windows she acted and the other your teenage boy acted like they didn't see me at the drive thru. Then disappeared for 5 mins then somebody came out after the fact. I will not be back

The staff here is incredibly nice—always pleasant and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. However, I was really disappointed with the food handling practices. When I visited for a Shaq-a-Roni pizza, I noticed that no one was wearing gloves or hairnets, and several employees smelled strongly of smoke.

What concerned me most was that staff were moving between stations, making pizzas with bare hands, touching the register, their hair, and faces—without washing their hands or cleaning the work area. It made me very uncomfortable, and unfortunately, I ended up throwing the pizza away. I didn’t want to cause a scene, but I also couldn’t bring myself to eat something prepared in those conditions.

Again, the team is friendly, but there needs to be a serious improvement in cleanliness and food safety practices.

Ordered some pizza to have delivered and the driver knocked or rang the doorbell. So unfortunately my neighborhood animals got ahold of my pizza and the store will not send another order unless I pay! This is 3 time I have major problems! I am done with company!

Update: So Papa John’s got rid of their own delivery drivers to save a buck and now delivers by Door dash. The last person to deliver gave us someone else’s food. I’m sure the other person got ours. The drivers are usually rude and have ZERO customer service skills. From now on, if we order, we will pick up. No tip, no hassle

And now, again, for the second time, they left our food in the carport and didn’t bother to ring the doorbell. Yall suck!

Placed my order - went to pick it up and the guy at the window walked off as I pulled up. 5 minutes later he came to the window and asked the name of my order. I gave it to him and he told me they were out of a topping I ordered online. He said he tried to call me but heard nothing. Ironically while he was making that statement my phone rang. He then asked me did I want it or not. I said no and drove off. Never got a call about the missing topping. Would have been nice before driving out there. I can see why there is a 1 star trend here.

Absolutely disgusting ? this is how I feel about the cheesesteak papadia. I ordered 3 Papadias and one was correct. One was not and the cheesesteak one was so nasty I gave it to the stray cats outside. I won’t be ordering from this particular restaurant . You only get one chance with me.
