I ordered online pickup through seamless (prepaid). It said it would be ready between 8:10-8:20. I show up at 8:20 and I noticed that the closed sign is turned around, the open sign is off, and the lights are off except the kitchen lights. Then I see a boy on a skateboard (wearing a sweet pit bbq shirt) notice my car, ride over, and walk inside. So I followed him inside. Then he and the owner proceed to cook something in the back. I sit and wait for 20 minutes (assuming they are cooking my food). Then they walk out of the kitchen and say “we’re closed.” The younger boy proceeds to take the order they just made a couple doors down. So they clearly just made an order for someone. That man even came back a few minutes later and offered him 5 dollars as a tip. I told him I ordered online and already paid. The owner said that’s not my fault, we’re closed. He asked what I ordered and then they both started swearing and walking back to the kitchen. Then he walked back out 5 or so minutes later to inform me they didn’t have half the things we ordered prepped. I asked if he could do a refund and he said no that I have to call seamless and that It’s not his fault because they’re “closed.” I asked “you aren’t open on Friday nights?” He said no. Online it says they are open 7 days a week. It also seems really odd to me that they’re closed yet they delivered an order and were both wearing sweet pit bbq shirts.
He’s clearly going to get his money from seamless… if I was the owner of a business I would’ve just pulled 28 dollars out of the register and handed it to me. I paid almost thirty dollars and sat and waited for nothing.

Such great food and great service! It’s quickly become my go - to for dinner! It’s delicious and affordable. I ordered the chicken tender sandwich and told him to make it how he thinks was best and it didn’t disappoint. Their original BBQ sauce is seriously perfect! His customer service was above and beyond, especially considering I had no clue what I wanted and took a while to order.

Y’ALLLLLLL go ahead and stop what you are doing and GO HERE NOW!!! The ribs fall off of the bone, the Mac and cheese is everything ! And don’t even mention the sweet potato fries 10/10! You can tell the owner is passionate about his food and what he does. I am going to tell everyone about this place !!! I also had amazing conversation while waiting for my food which came out without much of a wait, just enough time to chef up this deliciousness. Overall great people and great food! I’ll be back over and over again for sure !

AMAZING! My mom and I were driving around and stumbled upon this gem! The owner and his family were extremely welcoming and delivered outstanding customer service. We tried the Mac n cheese, Fried okra, and Red Velvet Waffle. 10 out of 10. The Mac n cheese was creamy and seasoned to perfection. The fried okra had great seasoning and an amazing crunch. The Red Velvet Waffle is one of the best waffles I’ve ever had. We will definitely be returning, and recommend anyone who likes good food to stop by. There’s something for everyone!

Came to try for the first time cause my friend recommended it and I was not disappointed. The food was a good portion for the price and it was very flavorful. I came right before they was about to close and he still took my order and made me the 3 meat sampler. He didn’t have an attitude or anything, seemed very happy that another person was coming to try this very tasty restaurant. Will be back soon

I know everyone says the small chain places are the best they've ever had, but truly, the best I've ever had. The prices are too low for the quality of food that you get. The chef was at the counter answering my questions and offering ways to accommodate without me even asking. The mac-n-cheese was gourmet restaurant worthy.
