My first visit here and I am blown away. This gem sits in the heart of Hampton right on Main Street. I went on Mother’s Day weekend and figured it would be so crowded there would be an hour plus wait. Imagine my surprise to find the place empty. Walking in the door you see a well kept dining room very clean and nicely decorated. I thought if the food is half as good as this place looks I was in for a treat. Let me tell you it far exceeded my expectations. The staff was courteous and accommodating. They catered to our every desire and went far beyond regular service. The food was very well presented even coming out to the table with orchid garnish. Not only amazing to look at but the flavor was spot on. It’s crazy that this place didn’t have a long line outside waiting. We were treated with smiles and friendly prompt service for the entire meal. I cant remember when I have enjoyed a meal out on a holiday as much as I enjoyed this one. Usually I take several images of the food and I am truly sorry that I didn’t this time. I was so caught up in being treated like royalty I completely forgot until the meal was done. It was so good we ate every bit and in no time. I will be going back so I will make sure to update with photos. Right now I just have empty plates.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious dining room easy to maneuver.
The menu is diverse. Tasty and hot dishes. Great hibachi, teriyaki and sushi. Service is always fantastic. Very clean with pleasant background music.

I ordered a Kani salad which anytime I’ve gotten it anywhere else consisted of mostly Kani, the one I got from here was almost an entire container of cucumber and very little Kani so I was very disappointed with that as it’s one of my faves. I did online pay and left a $2 tip, come to find out an extra $2 was added and taken off my card which was fine, but then I continue to get payments trying to go through on my credit card. I would suggest not doing any online payments with the place and pay in person.
Delicious! Server was amazing. My husband and I came for date night. He had hot saki and I got a glass of moscato wine (sweet, just how I like it ) both ordered the shrimp/chicken hibachi with fried rice. Comes with vegetables. Dinner plates about $20 a piece. Pretty decent considering the portions plus the yummy soup and salad appetizer. So glad we found this place it’s not too far from the house. Will be returning!

If you're looking for delicious sushi with amazing service, then you should try Yumi Japanese in Hampton. This hidden gem in downtown Hampton was a great find. The host was friendly. My server Ellen was warm and welcoming. She made the overall experience amazing. With an intimate vibe like being home. I definitely recommend trying Yumi for yourself.Parking: In front or on the side., i don't know how many spots are there.
