My sister and ordered in the restaurant...we waited over 30 minutes for veggie plates..only to be serve with small bowls ..no to go plates no dishes just bowls ..
The owner told me all money not good money..in a rude way...they lost these customers...bad customer service .not even a refill on tea.. drastic location.

The food was delicious we had the pork chops, turkey wing, cabbage/ greens mixed, blackeyed peas, dressing and cornbread. Small sitting area so if crowded be ready to stand to wait. Only issues were the fact that we had to pay for cranberry sauce extra which should have been thrown in since I had dressing. Also the containers fee I do not understand how that is a legal charge since we were not given a choice of whether we wanted to go containers or dine in dishes. Other than that food is great.

First time coming today. Great customer service from everyone with service that was pretty fast. The catfish & green tomatoes were on point! Perfectly seasoned and fried. The strawberry banana pudding was good as well. At first I was questioning the charge for the to go containers when dining in but I get it. Who wants to wash all them dishes lol...smart move honestly. I'll be back again!

I went there tonight, random Thursday. When i arrived it was very empty. I ordered the turkey wings which comes with the choice of yellow rice or dressing. I opted for dressing with a side of yams. I also ordered a margarita.

Pros: margarita was nice! No complaints. Turkey was good and well seasoned.

Cons: after waiting 41 min for food, I inquired how much longer as I needed to catch a flight. I was then told that they were putting the dressing in the oven. Waitress was unsure how long it would take and asked if I wanted yellow rice. I told her I’d be willing to wait 5-10 more minutes. She came back around 10 minutes later to tell me it was not going to be ready. So I opted for greens. I got my food, and was not pleased with the greens. There was never an apology for even waiting close to an hour. Never asked how did I like the options. When I cashed out, there was a packaging fee. Not sure why because I dined in. On top of that that, a person was eating dressing when I was leaving. Waitress didn’t bother to even offer to make it To right.

In my opinion the food is overpriced. I paid $20.00. The cabbage was mushy. I got one turkey wing and rice with gravy. And they charged me for putting my food in the box.

I've only ordered from GrubHub, but these people are awesome. They always call if there's an issue or they're out of something, and the dude who calls is so sweet. Food is always good and prices are reasonable. Will order again. Forgot to photograph my plate. Will next time.

My partner and I almost skipped this place on our way to the airport due to being pressed for time, but we’re so glad we didn’t. Our server Lex gave us excellent recommendations and provided amazing service. We can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. The catfish and juicy chicken were our favorites - collard greens were also out of this world.
