The RedEye Southern Kitchen description in Open Table sounded exactly what I wanted to get a nice quality meal in a relaxing setting. I was surprised when I arrived to find out that this was simply the dining room in one of Hilton's Atlanta area hotels. The ambience was similar to many other Hilton hotels with a bar at one end, open tables, a hallway guests going to other hotel rooms or venues, and a Starbucks in view. I didn't find one of the menu items I had seen on Open Table's description of their menu; I was told by my water that the menu was "in transition." Nevertheless, I was able to find a nice salmon presentation and a glass of wine -- but nothing that distinguished this "Southern Kitchen" from many other upscale Hilton Hotels. Oh -- and I had to go over to the Starbucks to order coffee after dinner -- this was not on the menu. That may protect the franchisee, but it was disappointing!

This was in the Hilton Hotel, and it was NYE, and it was quiet, and the food was amazing. We had the sliders, and they were seasoned to perfection. The drinks were delicious. The service was good.

The food was good but the service was slow. Our food arrived an hour after we ordered it. We complained, nicely, to the waitress. The chef comped our food. We just paid for the wine.

So while staying at this Hotel, I decided to try the restaurant. I sat at the bar where I meet the best bartender I ever came across. The restaurant was busy and she had the composure and aura of a Goddess. Her uniform up to her locs were very professional. Her smile made my day even better. Her name is Iris. Every restaurant needs a manager/owner like her.

This was the best meal I’ve had all month. The ambiance is beautiful. The loaded mac and cheese was incredible. I added pulled chicken, amazing! My server, Nicole was so kind and attentive. The buffalo cauliflower wings were super good too! The portions are large enough to share. I got the “All that razz” cocktail and it was beautiful as well as delicious. They put a delicious sauce on the Mac and cheese that makes all the flavors marry together perfectly. Thank you RedEye!

I had the 3 slider sampler with Mac & cheese. The food was great especially the Mac & cheese! Prices are higher than on their website menu. The bartender had her hands full but did great despite being understaffed and doing the work of two!

Food was okay for the price. Restaurant was too cold. It wasn't enjoyable. Server Nicole was excellent.

Due to a limited menu the night I ate dinner at RedEye Southern Kitchen, I ordered the RedEye Stacker burger - and quite possibly THE BEST burger I've ever eaten. And excellent service.

This was a great ending to our short weekend in Atlanta. We made a reservation with RedEye Southern Kitchen to be close to the airport for out flight home that night. It was wonderful The staff was amazing and kind. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I was so appreciative that our waitress, Tish, asked if I wanted to place the kids' orders in first. We did and they got to start munching while we enjoyed a drink. My cocktail that the Tish suggested had a peach flavor to it and was not to sweet or overpowering! It was delicious! The food was amazing. The three adults order the sliders trio, the ribeye, and the Coca-Cola short ribs. Cooked to perfection. Each of us enjoyed out meals. Even the kids who both ordered chicken tenders! The enders were real chicken and lightly breaded which I love. It did not come from a frozen bag to be heated up. The atmosphere was nice. The decor is dark, sleek, and modern. It is in the open of the hotel and a bit loud but it added some excitement to the dinner. We were not guests of the hotel but treated just the same!

So the food is good, better than one would expect in a hotel. However, the service is exceptional. The girls at night at the bar are excellent, and Miranda in the morning for breakfast makes me want to come back every time!! Please let them know they are appreciated!

had the pleasure of dining (ordered takeout so that I could eat and relax in my room) at Red Eye Southern Kitchen while on a work trip, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I ordered the Impossible Chop with macaroni and cheese and collard greens, and every bite was perfection. As someone who doesn’t eat red meat but loves Impossible dishes, I was blown away—this was one of the best Impossible entrées I’ve ever had. The chop was flavorful and satisfying, the collard greens had the perfect smoky depth, and the mac and cheese was rich, cheesy, and comforting.

The service was just as incredible as the food. Terry and Miranda were both top-notch—friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating. Their hospitality made me feel right at home, and you simply don’t find service like this everywhere.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is elevated and swanky, yet still comfortable—perfect for both business trips and personal outings. I honestly can’t wait to come back again and again, even outside of work, just to enjoy this gem of a restaurant.

If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop by Red Eye Southern Kitchen. You won’t be disappointed! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Good food for a hotel restaurant. The service was good - almost a little too attentive not allowing our party of 4 time to have conversation and read the menu before asking us to order. In fact didn't even ask if we wanted something to drink or a starter. (At least she wasn't upselling 😀) But was attentive. My chicken sandwich was excellent. Our group also had the salmon, the brisket sandwich and shrimp and grits which were all good. 2 beers a piece, 2 apps, and entrees and our bill was ~$250 before tip. Definitely a hotel atmosphere, the restaurant design is open to the main atrium of the hotel.
