Taco Pete Bistro

Taco pete is a staple in the area. It moved from a few miles up the road where it was originally but it still has the same charm. Food is all made to order, fresh cut veggies, and the menu is simple. California style tacos wich generally is a blend of Mexican & American flavors. No pork on the menu. As much as I love the tacos, I would say they have really good smash burgers, honorable mention the pastrami wich the sell out of pretty quick. The whole joint is homey, if you get Bri as a bartender or server you'll be happy & thoroughly entertained.

While traveling I found this restaurant near my hotel. I thought I was going to a Texmex place from the name but it was more of a mom and pop type restaurant. The menu does have tacos, but it also has hamburgers, hotdogs, and wings.

I had the hamburger and it was alright; reminiscent of a cafeteria burger. It was served with steak fries and a drink. I also ordered a six piece wings with honey bbq sauce. The wings were fantastic. The skin crisp, and completely drenched in sauce. I used the excess sauce to dip my fries in.

The service was prompt and attentive.

The tacos were okay, I have been to this location many times. This last time I ordered tacos and nachos, the nachos were stale and when I called to notify the establishment I was put in hold and the manger eventually came to the phone with an attitude. She did not display any good customer service. I ended the call due to that. Treat others how you want to be treated!!!!

Walked in the person who was taking orders didn’t greet also told her that it was our first time there as i was traveling with family didn’t explain menu had attitude other workers walked around as if they do not have a job …. i can say the food was flavorful just to salty !!!! Also front register person was server prepare to have wait on you food.

I went today to get some wings. I order 2 - 10 piece combos and was charged $40! Now that’s crazy. There’s no wings out there that is worth $40.. and they were not and I don’t care if it’s a new building.

I'm all about a vibe. The food is great but the people... The Greatest. I've been adopted. Try the house wings. You won't be disappointed.

Went to this location bc I’ve been eating here for years but the Main street location was my go to. However, was turned around at the door after waiting 30 minutes for opening per website bc they were behind on a catering event is bogus and absurd! Was told to go to the East Point location.I’m a business owner but what if I had no time to go there is absolutely terrible service!!! My first time here and there was a woman giving out the orders that was very rude and ignored me when I wanted to ask if she called no. 96. my receipt no. I listened to her call no. 95 and then 97. I went ti the window and tried to get her attention as I seen a bag sitting a small bag that looked like a single taco. She looked right at me 3 times and ignored me. I went back to the order window and asked a lady there if 96 was called. She walked right over to the bag that was sitting right by the woman working the pick up window that looked me in my face and ignored me. I said all of that to say… Colored women in Atlanta need to do better assisting another colored woman. If you don’t want to be helpful to customers and ignore them you should not work a public window. Work in the back where you don’t have to be asked a question from a customer. Good customer service in certain areas of GA sucks. This is why it’s difficult to patronize our own kind and we women of color can’t unite.
Food for thought… I don’t care how good the food is if you have bad attitudes running your business especially the window. Customer will not return.
