Great place to eat and have a few margaritas. We will definitely be back. Brandon was awesome. Him and his family are awesome and love what they do. Definitely going back

I was so excited to hear we were getting Agaves Mexican Grill! There is a limited choice of food off that exit! Yesterday I tried the vegetarian quesadillas, guacamole casero, and esquites! The veggies for the quesadillas were grilled to perfection and the guacamole casero was so fresh! I came in for the elote, sadly they were out, but I was able to get the esquites, which was so delicious! I can’t wait to try more things in the menu!

Best restaurant in Harlem, any negative reviews are entitled… fresh food made to order with caring staff. Harlem needed this place, glad they’re finally open.

We attended their opening night and had a bad experience. It took us 40 minutes to get our drinks after finally chasing down a server to get our order. We were provided one menu to share between the three of us. After an hour and 20 minutes, we had to chase down the waiter again to get our food, as he never came by our table. Our food was okay. I got the pollo con queso, which was OK. The cheese sauce tasted slightly sour. The other person at my table got enchiladas, and the sauce was tomato-based. It tasted like pasta sauce over enchiladas. It was gross. During the night, I had to kill an ant as it walked across my table towards my chips and salsa. The overall service and food quality were subpar, and we will not be back. Instead, I would recommend going to a different Mexican restaurant, especially since there are better-quality, cheaper options in town and in Grovetown.

Today we had the pleasure of trying Agaves Mexican Grill at Pumpkin Center. If you dont know, Fabbie and Lupillo Garcou recently opened this brand new restaurant to serve the Appling-Harlem communities. I have known their sweet family for 25 years and began working with them 20 years ago where I met their babies, Paola, Brandon, an Bryan. Our meal and experience was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful, decorated for Christmas, and conveniently located just off exit 183. I passed by this evening to see the sign lit up and the inside was slam packed. We are looking forward to this becoming our new regular spot since it is so close and we love their family like our own.

The staff is amazing. So kind and genuine and the food was amazing. (Go for the authentic dishes, they are filled with flavor)

Mexican food is one of the things Harlem was missing. We went on the grand opening and it was an experience for sure. The staff was friendly, but it was definitely hectic. Their salsa was the best I've had here in columbia. I had 3 steak tacos and rice and beans. This will definitely be my new Mexican restaurant going forward.

The carne asada tacos, and Beans are extremely good. The chips aren't that good though

I wanted to love and support this local business so much, but unfortunately we will not be back. We went for the grand opening and were disappointed. Staff was very kind, but my food came out with an ANT in it. The waitress immediately apologized when it was brought to her attention. I saw her inform the owner behind the bar, who then gave me a side eye from across the bar and walked off. There was no apology from the owner or any manager. The plate with the live ant walking around on it was never taken away from the table. Thankfully that item was removed from our ticket. My friend also had to send her margarita back after she was told that there was salt spilled in it because they were rushing. I hope that going forward things work out better for them.
