We rented the restaurant to hold my mom's 70th surprise birthday. I will definitely recommend them to others. Renee and her mom are wonderful. The food was great and the service excellent.

I was picking up a new puppy in Harlem, and reserved a room (pre-approved by phone for the purpose) and wow... I can't believe how accommodating they were! Excellent food, customizations no problem, and no hostility to a very VERY nervous puppy with a nervous bladder. I can't say enough about the proprieters. We talked and talked, about Maine, about how GA has changed, about the weather... guests welcomed JJ (the puppy) without question. The room was fantastic, clean, as were all of the ammeneties such as bathrooms, showers, etc. I fell in love with the old place instantly. Can't say enough good things about it. They were the greatest hosts.

We ordered a lot of different things. The fried pickles were my favorite appetizer followed by the cheese sticks, fries, chips, then fried grits. For entrees we ordered several of the hamburgers, which all were good. The ribeye was also good but over cooked based on temperature request. The chicken fingers and grilled fish were just ok, we'd definitely not order the grilled fish again just because it was not comparable to the other entrees. The service was attentive but very slow, like really slow so don't plan on making this a quick dinner. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're looking for fried foods and don't mind salt. If you're a healthy eater, probably not the best choice but I'm sure they would try to accommodate you as everyone was nice.

When my dad told me he booked a bed and breakfast I must say I was very skeptical. I think B&B's typically get a reputation for older couples that need a romantic get away. I know live in a Chicago suburb and this was in the middle of the country, and there wasn't even a TV in the room. After a few minutes of meeting the owner, I knew my stereotype of this place was going to be wrong. The family was very nice and their restaurant was like their oversized dining room. Anything you wanted they seemed to have. The beds were nice and comfy, the shower was big and had a nice shower head and the people were great. I only got 1 night for a stay but i had my own room and a bathroom i only shared with my dad. The owner and her parent's (also owners I assume) opened breakfast early for us and made fresh breakfast. I had some of the best grits I had had in a long long time, being from up north though, I think Oma, was surprised I ordered them. The night we got there my nieces and nephews had dinner there and they took us in like they new us for years. This is a unique stay that I am glad I got. The family is very kind and caring. The show a great amount of pride in their community and in their family serving in the Air Force. It was a joy to stay here and I hope to go back.

Went for a romantic weekend get away. Husband made special request for flowers, champagne and roses in our gorgeous room. The breakfast was wonderful and we were treated like family. Renee and family made our weekend wonderful. We definitely go back.
