Hubby, daughter and I had my birthday dinner at this Steak House last night and here is my review. Atmosphere was great, no noisy chatter or screaming kids, waitress was attentive and took our order in a timely fashion. I ordered the fish platter which was beautifully cooked and tasted very good. Daughter and hubby ordered the steak and was a tad over the "medium” that was asked for but tasted good. The salad bar is very minimal and none of the dressings were labeled so had no idea what I was looking at. Overall the food and service was very good.The only bad part was when we paid with debit card there was an added surcharge over $3, when I questioned it we were shown a teeny tiny half hidden notice on the counter. This notice should clearly be shown on the entry door not after one has paid the bill of over $90.00 for three meals. I never carry that much cash on me so therefore we will likely not return here due to added punishment for paying with card and not cash.

Food was bland, tasted like it came from a can.The staff took forever to come to the table. Then spilled a drink all over , we had to move to a different table, then they just left the mess there.It was awkwardly quiet as there was no background music.I drove from Byron to eat here and was very disappointed ☹️... The entire atmosphere and dining experience was a complete let down.

Tam the traveling Sheltie has discovered another winner here. Seemingly endless menu selections, a choice for any taste, extremely welcoming and friendly staff, and a very pleasing experience. Server, Aubrie, was great. Delicious fixin's at reasonable prices. Certainly worth the drive from Macon!
Have came here my entire life. Service is always top notch, food is great (especially the ice cream!!). Hope this place never closes. I compare every restaurant in Hawkinsville to how good the Steak House is.

I had the sirloin and shrimp combo. The steak was not very flavorful and seemed to have been fried in a pan with water. The fried shrimp were good and the salad bar was decent. For just a couple bucks more I recommend Longhorns Steakhouse instead.
