10 star review. ? This is a great family oriented place. The owner is a great caring person, and treats his customers like family. The food is awesome, the fried chicken was the best I've had.we came by at closing and the owner insisted we stay and enjoy a meal,He even played a tune on his guitar for us. He made our day, we are from Ballground and the trip was well worth it just to eat at Daniel's Steak House. The staff are great and attended to all our needs. This is a great place to stop in if you are ever close by ,We just can't say enough about this great little jewel of a restaurant.Thank you all for a wonderful enjoyable dinner and visit.Love you guysDebbie IngramDennis & Glenda Garrett.& Pat Henderson

This was our Anniversary we wanted a good meal. The steak was so tuff I couldn't chew it I would have to spit it out . My husband was the same way . The lettuce was brown and my ranch dressing was watery . Paid way too much for steak we couldn't eat. I will not recommend any body to go here for steak dinner . The service was

Ate at Daniel's on Friday (Catfish day). Probably won't be back.... I had higher expectations than what we experienced. Salad Bar was not good, chopped up green, tough lettuce instead of various lettuce (not chopped up) plus the toppings were useless. Skip the salad bar. Tried chicken, I believe it was taken up WITHOUT any cooking oil drained off of the greasy chicken. The potatoes were just boiled & dumped out there, that's it. O.K. on to desserts.... We thought, " Oh Boy, BlackBerry Cobbler." It was soooo watered down & tasteless. I told my husband Before we finished our meal that when we get home, I will make you a BlackBerry Cobbler. I made him a BlackBerry Cobbler & it probably was off the chain, almost ate the bowl I cooked it in, plus I made a fancy lattice crust to top it off. The only thing my Husband & I liked was the Catfish.
It was good. I liked the fried chicken. Buffet or you can order off menu. Server Very nice.

Service was absolutely horrible! Waited over 20 minutes without our waitress getting our drink order and even asked her to come back by to take our order… after another 10 minutes she still did not come back by our table but was visiting with the table behind us. So rude and unprofessional.

I came in to enjoy a late lunch here with some AT hiking companions and the place was everything I was looking for and more! They had fried fish, fried chicken, white fish filets, fried baby shrimp, a salad bar, apple pie, cherry cheesecake, butterscotch pudding, macaroni and cheese and the place had a Gone With The Wind theme which was great to check out... they had these cute quotes around! Great music-- I actually knew all the songs playing, which isn't often when I go out! Sarah was very friendly and we enjoyed our time talking with her... she even offered to pray for us and our safety the rest of our journey! All of the servers were very friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommend to anyone in the area and especially passing through from the Appalachian Trail... I left happy and ready to hike on!

Came on a sunday and there was only a fried chicken, stuffing, mash potatoes ,gravy, fried veggies, and salad bar. It was ok. But we came at 2pm and most of food was pretty picked over. Nothing but thighs, and dry stuffing. Sorry was really not impressed..maybe a full dinner day would have been better.

Salad bar was decent but the buffet was gross and the cashier was a smart a** when I tried to kindly tell her my thoughts on my dining experience... I felt it was overpriced for the quality of food offerd and btw them things you call hush puppies them ain't no hush puppies...

The food and service was very good, but it was 80 degrees on the thermostat in there today 7/1/23. It's hard to enjoy your meal and felt sorry for the workers trying to work.

Wife and I both had the buffet. Excellent choice of vegetables. Service was exceptional (Robyn). My tea glass was never close to empty. Cashier (Brenda) was friendly and cordial. Have been eating here for almost ten years. I believe they have raised the bar again. Thanks for a pleasant meal with friendly conversation.

Don't go ! This has to be the worst food I have ever had. I could not even eat it , greasy tasteless . No senior citizen should eat this crap.To top that the women there expect a tip for bringing you water, no !
Frank and I are in Hiawasee, GA. We ate dinner at Daniel’s. The staff was very courteous and service was great, especially Robin. The waitresses here work very hard and deserve to be treated nicely. They are working to take care of their families. We experienced this evening two different individuals that were not so nice! One walked out without paying for their dinner and the other had patience of a squirrel!Shame on them acting out in public! And a bad example for children who were present!
