Ate at Daniel's on Friday (Catfish day). Probably won't be back.... I had higher expectations than what we experienced. Salad Bar was not good, chopped up green, tough lettuce instead of various lettuce (not chopped up) plus the toppings were useless. Skip the salad bar. Tried chicken, I believe it was taken up WITHOUT any cooking oil drained off of the greasy chicken. The potatoes were just boiled & dumped out there, that's it. O.K. on to desserts.... We thought,...
I came in to enjoy a late lunch here with some AT hiking companions and the place was everything I was looking for and more! They had fried fish, fried chicken, white fish filets, fried baby shrimp, a salad bar, apple pie, cherry cheesecake, butterscotch pudding, macaroni and cheese and the place had a Gone With The Wind theme which was great to check out... they had these cute quotes around!
